It’s morning in America and we’re chugging Orangeade. Get some sweet, citrusy, and grape-colored THC to do the weekend jobs with this strain.
Symbiotic Genetics of California crossed Tangie and Purple Punch to make this hit hybrid. Strain traffic to Orangeade has increased by 14% month on month, which is very close to its cousin Mimosa (plus 13%). Both are perfect for the first girls weekend.

ZimZims
Seed Junky Genetics-bred and CAM-bred ZimZims are scheduled for May. (David Downs / Leafly)
Try the top of the rainbow with this zkittlez crossed for yourself. ZimZims is bred by Seed Junky Genetics of Los Angeles and bred to perfection by the women-run Colorado transplant CAM in Sacramento. The smell and taste of ZimZim’s tropical sweets and Trix muesli is as good as the bud looks. Perfect for perfuming your first garden grill.
Project 4516
Secret weapon: Grandiflora’s Project 4516. (David Downs / Leafly)
Mysteriously named with an elite gelato flavor, Project 4516 combines Gelato 45 and the rare Platinum Puff. This premium strain from California indoor chefs Grandiflora promises gaseous biscuits perfect for smoothing out plot gaps in films like Godzilla vs. Kong.

If you like Do-Si-Dos, watch out for Whoa-Si-Whoa. Whoa-Si-Whoa was bred by Cannarado of Colorado and selected by Top-Shelf Cultivation in California. In 2019 he received a Cannabis Cup. Expect a big OG Kush bite and funk from this reinforced dose. Great for appreciating the special effects of the new Mortal Kombat. Finish him!

Compound Genetics of California crossed GMO to Purple Punch for this powerful combination of meaty onions and fruit, perfected by breeders LitHouse. Modified grapes are great as a digestif after your first outdoor dining experience in 2021.
Stress highlights from May
New on the pharmacy shelves –Diablo wind from Houseplant, CA.
Houseplant’s Diablo Wind has Jack Terps and Energy. (David Downs / Leafly)
Actor Seth Rogen’s California launch of Houseplant defied critics on Celebrity Weed for delivering big, terpy, fantastic, top-notch indoor nugs. Now all three houseplant stems pass the pattern in 17 inviting pharmacies.
Diablo Wind offers a bright, energetic counterpoint to all of the cookies out there. Diablo Wind is Jack Herer x G13 Haze. It’s similar to XJ-13, and this stuff is great for daytime activities – like a pottery class!
The charts are skyrocketing –Grape octane from Alibi, OR

Alibi Farms in Clackamas, Oregon, owned by women, continues to deliver indoor quality to discerning smokers in Beaver State. Their entire lineup is real, but Cannarado Genetics’ cross of High Octane OG and Grape Pie is a guaranteed winner.
The gaseous diesel smell suggests grapes and fruit and goes well with the Kardashians’ final season or a trance-like Minecraft marathon.

Ballin out –search from Source, CA.

The search for the perfect interior space in California is over at Source Cannabis. Source’s flagship strain is a variety of Original Glue (also known as GG4; a cross of Chem Sister, Sour Dub, and Chocolate Diesel) bred by GG Strains. Buttery lemon and pungent pine aroma give this strong strain a boost that goes well with chill hobbies like spring gardening or zoom poker.
In laboratory tests, GG4 is rich in astringent pinene aroma, aided by moist myrcene and caryophyllene.
Ballin ‘on a budget –Lemon cane YOLO, from Archive CA.
Penny Pinchers are happy: Lemon Cane YOLO. (David Downs / Leafly)
From Yolo County, CA, this outdoor-grown bargain flower keeps giving us life. Archive Seeds from Oregon, California crossed a lemon peel with a Do-Si-Dos for thick lemon syrup-flavored drops with a mega-body-fuel finish. The outdoor product (called “YOLO”) can compete with indoor products in terms of value, terps and effects.
It’s great for numbing the mind and browsing 1,000 unread emails. Better yet – delete them all and set your vacation reply to “YOLO”.
A photo of Kalya Patty Cake rosin on a puffco swab. (David Downs / Leafly)
Prepare yourself for a premium extract that will stone you to the core. Kalya extracts from Oakland took 1st, 4th and 8th place in the Emerald Cup in April in solvent-free extracts and won with Patty Cake, a cross between a wedding cake, and Gelato # 33 from Landhammer Farms. Landhammer gently froze freshly harvested buds, then Kalya rinsed the plant’s trichomes with ice water and coldly squeezed and filtered the pure resonance.
The result looks like a science fiction metamaterial and smells like the extracted soul of the flower: rich, deep and sweet with GSC terps. Keep that expensive hashish sealed and frozen below 32 degrees and wait 15 minutes for the translucent pie to reach room temperature before opening it and dabbing it at low temperatures. Then meditate silently in the forest for hours. Delivery by Zenganic Delivery in Oakland.
