The Snoop Dogg x Berner 4/20 “Doggy Bag” drop was sold at Cookies Maywood
Snoop Dogg is the patron saint of the 4/4 holidays. That’s why he gets BIG every bloody year – it’s basically his second birthday. Sure, he smokes weed every day. But dull smoke hits differently when everyone is smoking to the weed gods at the same time. It’s like a medical meditation.
And Snoop wanted everyone to be loaded with yummy, sticky things this year, which is why he decided yesterday to give up a damn good collaboration with Berner and the Cookies crew in Maywood. “Tha Doggy Bag” was an exclusive gift full of weed and attracted a mile-long line of 420 friendly people ready to get as high as Snoop and Berner.

We’re still high from all that smoke on April 20th. I’m not sure when the effects of 14 foods and 50 blunts will wear off, but that’s how Doggfather and Berner would want it. This superstar-weed duo wants to transfer the high spirits to everyone.
Speaking of superstar weed friends and high spirits, Snoop released an album on April 20th entitled From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites, which rightly made the internet explode after April 20th. On a track called “Gang Signs,” which featured Sacramento-born rapper Mozzy, Snoop made strong implications that he was smoking weeds with former President Barack Obama.
Snoop opens the second verse of the song and says, “I still drink gin and juice while smoking marijuana. I bet you never gave a blow job with Obama.”
It seems that there is only one thing that these lyrics could possibly mean. But Snoop is a cryptic guy who lived a famous life. He could be talking about a time when he and Obama had an intimate nasal blowing experience or blowing up balloons together. Everything is possible with Snoop – and everything is possible in this current cultural landscape. However, if we bet money on what these texts mean, we would argue that Snoop says he smoked with our former president.
If Obama enjoys coming up, he’s kept it under wraps – and for good reason: the stigma still lingers, especially for politicians, but especially for the president. Obama even reportedly turned down the option of smoking weed in a local bar after the state of Colorado legalized recreational use. But Snoop has a way of getting even the most unlikely of acquaintances to engage with him – because he’s the patron saint of 4/20.
Needless to say, Snoop’s ubiquitous dull smoke touched everyone on April 20th and set the cannabis world on fire. None of us should be surprised. Snoop has more tricks up his sleeve than David Blaine. So be curious about the next doggy bag drop – those limited edition herb packs will be gone before you know it.
