Magic mushroom recipes and cooking tips

Magic Mushroom Recipes

Adding dried psilocybin mushrooms to your food is one of the best ways to get high. It is one of the most common and efficient ways to consume it.

Certain types of mushrooms also have an umami-like flavor that adds a delicious flavor to many dishes. Some people can’t handle the flavor of mushrooms alone, so mixing them together into a flavorful recipe is a better way. If you want the psilocybin to work faster then eat it in food on an empty stomach. Otherwise, if you’ve already eaten, it can take about 45 minutes for the psilocybin compounds to reach every cell in your body.

Before you decide to cook with magic mushrooms, consider the dosage. Measuring magic mushrooms in grams is the most accurate and convenient way to dose. A tenth of a gram of magic mushrooms is enough for a mild microdose, while up to 2 grams per serving is good enough for beginners. If you’re looking for a stronger hallucinogenic experience, you might want to up your dose to 3 or 4 grams per serving.

A digital scale is always helpful for this! You can always add more mushrooms, but you can’t get rid of less once you’ve eaten them. Being extremely high from shrooms for about 7 hours can be a very uncomfortable experience, especially if you lack the experience, so always start low and slow.

Psilocybin tends to break down when exposed to temperatures above 72.5°C. Always keep the temperature as low as possible when cooking with psilocybin mushrooms in any form. It is helpful to have a food thermometer on hand.

Magic Mushroom Chocolates

One or two of these chocolate bites are enough to take you on a deliciously sweet psychedelic journey into another dimension. Psilocybin Chocolates are the ultimate sweet tooth trip!

  • 1 12-ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 ounce dried psilocybin mushrooms

  • 2 tablespoons crushed toffee

  • 4 tablespoons crushed hazelnuts

  1. Use the grinder to grind the dried mushrooms into a powder. Due to the large amount of mushrooms, you may need to break up the grinding into portions, but it’s important to ensure that all of your mushrooms are ground evenly.

  2. Melt the chocolate by cooking it on your stove. If you have a particularly large pot, double boiling is a more efficient technique for melting the chocolate.

  3. Remove the chocolate and let it cool to room temperature. However, be careful not to set the chocolate. Hot temperatures can affect the quality (and effects) of psilocybin mushrooms.

  4. Gently stir the magic mushroom powder into the melted chocolate. Use a silicone spatula to break up any clumps and ensure the psilocybin powder is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

  5. Add sugar if you like it sweeter.

  6. Pour the chocolate into chocolate molds.

  7. Allow the chocolate to cool and set in the fridge.

  8. Enjoy!

Everyone loves a really good grilled cheese. This version is enhanced with the addition of Magic Mushrooms. You can use whatever bread you have available, although sourdough, shokupan, or classic white bread are always recommended for an excellent grilled cheese. Also, grated cheese melts much faster – you can buy pre-grated cheese or you can grate it yourself.

  • 4 slices of bread of your choice

  • 2 to 300 grams of your favorite cheese, grated (American, white cheddar, yellow cheddar, camembert, some blue cheese… anything goes!)

  • mayonnaise

  • butter

  1. Butter each side of the bread and spread the inner slice with mayonnaise.

  2. Put cheese on the mayonnaise. Put some ground mushrooms on each layer of cheese.

  3. Squeeze one sandwich and do the same with the other pair.

  4. Heat a pan with some butter on low, then slowly fry each side of the sandwich until golden – about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Cut the sandwiches diagonally.

  6. Serve with a warm bowl of tomato soup or a salad.

These are just some of the ways you can experiment with the goodness of dried magic mushrooms in your kitchen. You can also use fresh magic mushrooms in salads or add them to a pasta sauce.
