The breeders behind True North Family Farms are from California, so their varietal offerings reflect a preference for creamy cookies and gas rather than the sour and cloudy flavors of the East Coast. My buddy recommended Cotton Candy to them as something calming and sweet. I'd call this a cousin of cookies – the buds have the same texture and consistency, and they exude the signature mix of mint, cream and gas that lingers on the nose; On the palate it is more subtle but has the same sharp mouthfeel. With a THC content of over 20%, I agree that this is a de-accelerator; Ideal as a companion for a nightcap or movie night where you want to enjoy your food and shows.
