420 Cannabis Fest – 3-course recipe to celebrate 420

It’s that time of year again when stoners around the world gather to celebrate all things cannabis-related. Whether or not you are celebrating this year’s 420 from home, there is no need to cut back on your celebration.

While we all long for the day when we can kick back in a crowded place to rejoice with friends, puff-puff-passing can be put on hold this year without sacrificing joy or cannabis.

As an alternative to your celebrations this year, treat yourself to our 3-course 420 cannabis festival, including cannabis bruschetta, steak with cannabis gorgonzola sauce. and to top it off, some rosin-vanilla ice cream.

420 Cannabis Festival – First Course

Bruschetta infused with cannabis

  • 2 cups of Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons of basil, chopped
  • 1-2 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of red onion, chopped
  • 60 ml olive oil (with your dosage of cannabis oil)
  • 1 baguette (or homemade focaccia)

To start your 420 cannabis festival, a decent starter is in order. If you want to save some time on this recipe, buy a baguette (or bread of choice), but choosing to bake your own will certainly be worth it. In a large mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, garlic, and red onions.

After mixing, add a few pinches of kosher sea salt. Next, add your cannabis oil straight away and dose it as you wish. In this recipe we used a dosage of 20 mg THC. Finally add the olive oil and mix again until everything is well mixed. Prepare your bread by heating it in the oven, slicing it and pouring cannabis over it with your prepared bruschetta.

Steak with cannabis gorgonzola cream sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup of white wine
  • 2 cups of cannabis infused cream
  • 4 ounces of Gorgonzola cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 steak of your choice, prepared as you like

Start by frying the onions in a saucepan with a little butter, salt and pepper. Once the onions become translucent, add the garlic. After about 30 seconds, until the garlic smells fragrant, deglaze the pan with your white wine. Pour in the cream and bring the mixture to a boil.

Once the sauce is heated enough, add the gorgonzola cheese and let it reduce by a third on medium heat. Once reduced, the cream sauce can be applied to your steak, chicken, or anything else you want to taste delicious. Enjoy this delicious meal while partying 420 at home.

Hash Rosin Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 3 grams of rosin
  • 2 cups of cream, divided
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

This dessert will make your 420 celebration special. We’ll start this recipe by making rosin cream, which will later be incorporated into the ice cream mixture. Drop the rosin into a mason jar filled with a cup of cream. Place the jar in a sous vide at 160 ° F (or in an oven for the same temperature / time) for two hours.

After cooling, put the rosin cream in a large mixing bowl along with the rest of the cream and half and half. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and whisk until homogeneous. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer. Stir or shake them every hour or two for 24 hours. After a whole day of freezing, your Rösti vanilla ice cream is ready!
