What’s new at Leafly for March 2023?

What’s up, here’s David Downs – your managing editor at Leafly News with a brief rundown of new things to do on Leafly for March 2023. That’s right – it’s time for a classic corporate blog.

What is Leafy?

Bruh, Leafly is where the world gets its cannabis information (and has been since 2012). We list more than 6,000 varieties, more than 4,000 store menus and hundreds of thousands of variety and store reviews from tens of millions of visitors each year. Nobody does it better.

Leafly App News – More fun, with more delivery

Leafly works best on the iOS and Android apps, and we improve the Leafly app every month by fixing bugs and adding new tools to help you get to your pocket faster.

From this March you can:

  • see live updates on your order being fulfilled;
  • stay better informed on Android;
  • see updated pharmacy schedules;
  • and follow Leafly links across the web deep into the app instead of that musty browser.

We’re always working to make strain shopping easier. That makes sense as we have over 6,000 strains listed in the Leafly database. Get This: Now you can just tap the larger, more prominent “Shop” button on strain pages to see this strain for sale in your local stores.

We launched a delivery order portal on Leafly in 2022 and continue to refine it. Head over to leafly.com/delivery, enter your address and add it to the bag to get dope delivery. How long does Leafly delivery take? Depending on the address from one hour.

In February we added dozens of strains like Mango Fruz from Seed Junky Genetics and improved the accuracy of dozens more. It’s bloody hard work, but we’re up for it.

It’s easier to look for strains based on effects or flavor. We’ve added some fresh picks to our strain lists – these are pages dedicated to a specific effect or flavor of weed. Our list of Cheese strains is exploding. So does our list of lemon varieties.

Leafly Glossary has new weed words

Cannabis vocabulary is exploding and we want to keep up with the way stoners talk while also engaging newcomers. The Leafly Glossary now includes entries for words like hashhole, deep water culture, and living earth.

What’s next on Leafly for March?

Leafly News’ national all-star team cooks up new columns for HighLight, Horoscopes, Leafly Buzz and Health Reports. We edit spicy lifestyle stories, helpful grow explainers and jump on the latest news that’s the talk of the Sesh. And we will be in Barcelona for Spannabis!

And, yes – the team at Leafly Delivery is working to make it even easier to get weed delivered by allowing you to toggle between pickup and delivery searches. They’re also adding the ability to search on delivery via text query: so if you’re looking for something sour, type “sour” in the search box to get sour results.
