Three retro TV intros set the mood – the latest cannabis news today
Even without watching the show, a TV intro can go a long way in helping to see the mood of a session. The purpose of an intro is to get you in the mood to see a particular show, but they can do more than just get us to eat veggies on a couch
This article introduces three great TV intros for you to experience at height.
3. Twin peaks
Twin Peaks has one of the calmest and most surreal intros ever seen on the small screen. Nature, a picturesque small town, slowly rising threads … what else could we ask for?
Despite the show’s nefarious undertones, the intro always calms me down and is in a perfect state of mind to be stoned. The song is a bit repetitive but it never gets old and compliments the graphics perfectly.
Few other intros will set you up so well on a contemplative high.
2. Friends
While Friends isn’t for everyone, the appeal of its intro is undeniable. At a time like this, we need a reminder of our friends and family, and little reminds us more than this optimistic intro about friendship and difficult times.
The feeling of the 90s alone will give many a sense of comfort and coziness. Personally, I have a soft spot for nostalgia when I’m high, and it’s not a weakness that I totally mind. For a nostalgic session, nothing can beat the friend’s intro and theme song.
1. Firefly
“Take my love, take my country
Take me where I can’t stand
I don’t care because I’m still free
You can’t take the sky away from me. “
These are the opening texts of the cult classic Firefly. This intro has less to do with a mood associated with weeds and more to do with an ideology. While some may have forgotten or never experienced a time when weeds were illegal, these lines sound right to many.
While Stoner may not have talked about flying around in spaceships, many activists who truly believed in the spiritual and medicinal properties of marijuana risked a lot to get the legislation where it is today. They were really ready to risk everything and lose their freedom to take us to where we are today.
