Does Will Smith smoke weed?

Will Smith is an accomplished TV, film and music icon. Many remember the ’90s when he was known simply as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The sitcom launched his career and he has since managed to stay relevant by working with a number of famous directors in numerous blockbusters that earned him Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar awards. But does Will Smith ever just relax, smoke weed?

Smith has kept a low profile since Chris Rock’s infamous slap at the 94th Academy Awards in 2022. Surprised by Rock, Smith unexpectedly entered the stage and delivered a joke to Rock about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Recently, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith announced that they have been living apart since 2011. Pinkett Smith did support her and expressed that he had things to work on. Sounds like he could use a gummy bear or two.

In contrast to his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Will is a rather reserved person and rarely lets his private life become public. Pinkett Smith Red Table Talk Sau, opened the family up to more controversy over the years. The episodes touched on various personal topics, such as the couple’s rocky relationship, Jada’s affair with August Alsina, and more. The show, along with other Facebook Watch Originals series, was canceled after the platform announced it was moving away from producing original programming.

While Will hasn’t directly addressed marijuana on the show, the family discussed their experiences with alcohol on an episode of Red Table Talk and explained that they had reduced their consumption because Jada’s family has a history of alcohol abuse.

When the topic of cannabis was brought up, they all paused in embarrassment until the couple’s daughter, Willow, revealed: “Everyone knows we’re 420 friendly, let’s be honest.”

While Will hasn’t spoken openly about marijuana, his kids have, which leads us to believe he must have a pretty laid-back attitude toward the subject. Willow was photographed wearing cannabis socks and has spoken about her drug use, saying it was something to relieve boredom.

Although Will is most likely not a stoner, we can safely assume that he is okay with moderate use and the legalization of cannabis.

An extremely talented and ambitious actor, he received an Oscar for Best Actor for his role in King Richard (2021) – he also won a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award in the same category and role; He received Grammy Awards – one for Best Rap Performance (for “Parents Just Don’t Understand”), one for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group (for “Summertime”) and two for Best Rap Solo -Performance (for “Men in Black” and “Gettin’ Jiggy wit It”); He won the first two of them as a member of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. His Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony nominations make him one of the few black actors to be nominated for all four major entertainment awards in the United States.
