Does Dakota Johnson smoke weed?
Dakota Johnson is known for her role in the 50 Shades of Gray films and for being the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. After her contract was up, Johnson decided to use her spotlight to work with great directors, which led to some truly great films (no offense to 50 Shades). She is also the partner of Coldplay’s Chris Martin. She was spotted with her mother Melanie Griffith at the Coldplay concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California earlier this week.
Extremely private, she resurfaced on social media in 2020 due to some comments she made in 2017 that caused some people to question her sexuality. Naturally, Twitter ate it up, creating fancams, memes, and all sorts of viral posts about the unearthed information.

Okay, but what we really want to know is: Does she smoke marijuana?
Johnson is pretty open. Despite her privacy regarding her personal relationships, she is open with the media and has been the subject of some pretty epic arguments with famous presenters. During an interview in 2019, Jimmy Fallon interrupted Johnson until she told him to stop. As for Ellen, Johnson called her out for missing her birthday party.

A few years ago, while doing press for one of the “50 Shades” movies, Johnson said that CBD was her secret to sleeping while traveling. “I try to pass out on the plane; Otherwise my whole world will collapse,” she told Elle Magazine.

But that doesn’t really tell us much about their stance on weed, especially since every celebrity uses CBD. What’s even more interesting is that she was photographed carrying a MedMen shopping bag last year. Her partner Chris Martin told Rolling Stone, “For me personally, weed really doesn’t do anything.” So it seems the Medmen are for personal use.
