Does Charlize Theron smoke weed?

One of Hollywood’s most talented actresses, Charlize Theron has a real flair for choosing roles in which she can showcase her abilities. She became a force on the big screen and the evolution of her career was incredible for moviegoers. Known for her transformative roles (“Monster,” “Bombshell”) as well as numerous action films (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Atomic Blonde”), she is one of the coolest people around, always looking for something new and interesting admits projects. She was recently photographed looking stunning at the Dior fashion show in Paris.

Kenneth Branagh, the actor and Thor director, is quoted:

“Charlize is a whirlwind of sexual energy. I hate burdening people with expectations, but Charlize seems like an effortless star presence to me. She is fearless, beguiling, a great card player and a real looker.”

Theron has been pretty open about her past marijuana use. But where is she with weed?

She has made public comments ranging from the fact that she didn’t try weed until she was older and that her mother always came to her house to drop off edibles.

“She came to my house, literally drove around in her little tennis outfit, brought me a little container and just left it on my kitchen table,” Theron told Jimmy Fallon. “She said, ‘So I have some blueberry-covered chocolate candies, but if you want it to work faster, you should go for the peppermint candies.’ The one you suck and it works faster.’ ”

That same year, I spoke to E! News, she opened up about her weed habits in more detail, explaining that while she used to wake up and bake regularly, she’s slowing down now. “But I really appreciated marijuana a lot more than alcohol or anything else. When I was younger my chemistry was really good, and then one day it just changed. When I was in my early thirties I just got bored and just stood in front of my fridge, so that’s not good.”

Theron explains that she doesn’t know what changed in her system regarding her marijuana use, just that she needed a break. She has talked about possibly using it to sleep. About 70% of young adults who occasionally use cannabis report that it helps them sleep.

“I’m open to trying it again because now there are all these different varieties and you can be more specific with it,” she said. “And I’m actually very interested because I really suffer from insomnia and I’d much rather stop taking sleeping pills and figure out a type that helps me sleep better. So when I have a moment, I actually do this with my mom. My mom has really bad sleep too.”

It looks like she’s not awake and well right now, but Theron and her mom may be getting a little help getting a good night’s sleep.
