Archive Seeds and The Alchemist warm up the grand opening of Astor Club LA

If you had any doubts about the state of cannabis culture in 2024, the launch of the Astor Club on the New York to LA coast will put that to rest.

High society's hottest club was packed for its grand opening on January 13th in Los Angeles. The private, members-only cannabis lounge made a name for itself in Lower Manhattan by appealing to all types of cannabis connoisseurs – unique genetics, pop-up brand activations with limited drops, and unforgettable vibes. And now LA's cannabis community has a new safe, social haven for smoking.

On the night of the grand opening, cannabis from Wonderbrett and tunes from The Alchemist filled the two-story space. Infused soda company Mary Jones took over the rooftop terrace with an offering of new, fizzy flavors.

Astor Club members get access to sought-after strains and hard-to-find weed deals year-round. Depending on the sea, rare finds include hash from Uncle's Farm, the creator of Piatella, Moonbow from Archive and even the coveted Zushi range from The Ten Co.

The space is co-owned by major cannabis brand Viola, founded in 2011 by former NBA player Al Harrington. Where else but Astor Club LA can stoners shoot hoops on a working basketball court? Celebrity sightings abound at both the New York and LA locations of the Astor Club.

At a recent Alien Labs private tasting, I smoked Flatbush Zombies juice, saw rapper Buddy, and even spotted Drake's dad in a full Hot Cheetos suit. The Astor Club is a place to smoke amazing weed and be seen. Don't sleep on it.
