Weed drinks are slowly gaining more and more followers. Still, they’re not nearly as popular as other cannabis products like vapes, edibles, and flower. According to a Datassential report, consumer awareness of marijuana beverages increased by 9% in 2021, and 51% of adults over the age of 21 now say they are familiar with them. The company also found that THC drinks have the most interest and awareness among Generation X. Here’s what you should know about marijuana drinks before drinking your THC.

Beverages begin to exert their effects as soon as they are in the mouth and are absorbed into the bloodstream through the mouth, esophagus and stomach.

When compared to any other cannabis substance, a cannabis drink provides an experience similar to smoking a joint. You can tell that the high comes on soon after ingestion, so you can’t enjoy too much.

Only recently have cannabis companies started successfully incorporating cannabis into beverages. Cannabis beverages have had a difficult breakthrough, largely because it’s difficult to incorporate cannabinoids like THC and CBD into non-fat substances.
