We tried it: Pantry’s Good Day Bites
Since I learned to use cannabis as a productivity tool, I have leaned towards products that make me feel good as opposed to those that make me feel good. Part of my journey to becoming a more effective stoner has been to incorporate adaptogens like ashwagandha and functional mushrooms like Lion’s Mane or Cordyceps into my morning routine.
In addition to having a bit of weed in the morning, I’ve found this combination to be extremely effective at managing stress throughout the day and helping me get into the flow state where productivity occurs. When you think of the similarities between cannabis, adaptogens, and functional mushrooms, it’s surprising that there are no more products that contain all three.
Enter Pantry’s Good Day Bites, 5-milligram 1: 1 THC: CBD superfood bites, ticking each of those boxes. When I came across this product, I was intrigued. After experimenting with them for the last month, they have become a regular part of my morning routine.
Good Day Bites are part of a new line of superfood bites from Pantry, an edibles company that encourages Michelin-starred chefs like Michael Magliano to create their classy, holistically formulated edibles. With high quality infused olive oils, superfood bites, and a strong catering approach, the brand goes beyond being just another luxury cannabis brand.
This innovation is particularly evident in pantry superfood bites, which include Good Day Bites, Nite Bites and Cacao Keto Bites. Each product combines functional mushrooms and adaptogens with cannabinoids such as CBD, THC and CBN and was developed by a team of chefs and nutritionists with a senior medical officer.
Simply put, they are good for you and make you feel good. So, let’s talk about my favorite: Good Day Bites.
First impression
Where have these been all my life? I am a firm believer in the power of adaptogens and mushrooms and, obviously, grass. Having all three in one low-dose cannabis product with a wellness streak is just right for me. I also value the quality of the things I put into my body and always check my edibles for preservatives, chemicals, and anything that sounds like business or is gross.
The listed ingredients couldn’t be nicer: white couverture, passion fruit couverture, cocoa butter, organic lion’s mane mushroom extract powder, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, organic sunflower lecithin, cannabis extract, in that order. Name is.
Branding, another thing I thoroughly check when looking at a product, was clean, fun, and dominant, a difficult trifecta. The matt white glass felt heavy from the quality, and even before I tried the product, the design of the packaging unconsciously made me trust what was inside.
Try Good Day Bites
Each Good Day Bite contains 5 milligrams of THC and 5 milligrams of CBD with a full package containing a total of 20 bites and 100 milligrams of THC: CBD.
Aroma
The scent of the Good Day Bites is delicate, a subtle blend of white chocolate with a hint of turmeric.
Appearance
The look of the bites themselves is one of my favorite things about them on a flat plane. Each bite is roughly the size of a dime with an octagonal shape that resembles a fractal as much as it does a flower. They have the reddish-yellow color of turmeric and have a new age and wellness appeal.
taste
Complex, calming and exciting. The high-quality couverture – a glossy chocolate with a high cocoa butter content – offers a decadent texture without being overly sweet, while the dominant flavors are turmeric, white chocolate, and a hint of clove.
Buttery, juicy, totally delicious, you have the feeling that you have indulged in something desert-like. But these naturally vegan bites only have ten calories and one gram of sugar each.
effectiveness
Since I smoke so much weed, 5 milligrams is a microdose for me. In addition, 1: 1 products don’t get you as high as others because CBD balances the THC. When I have a full day at work and have a lot of things to do that require full mental clarity, I’ll eat one. When I’m doing something fun outside or hanging out with friends, I eat two.
For new consumers, I recommend eating half a bite and then moving on. Pantry’s website has a dosage calculator that can be helpful in calming your nerves. I gave out a ton of these bites to inexperienced consumer friends because I love them so much, and not even my mom said they were too strong. Everyone seems to have had the same experience of having good vibes all day and having a clear head without stress.
Overall, Good Day Bites is less about getting high and more about improving your quality of life. Start slowly and go from there. And if you smoke weed regularly, take all you want – it’s bland.
experience
My favorite experiences with Good Day Bites have been the one where I do things with ease that would normally cause me a lot of fear. I’m doing a product review show on my Instagram called Hot Tokes. It involves building sets, filming weekly, writing content, and a whole host of stressors that can eat me alive.
Unfortunately, getting stoned on camera is really hard, but smoking weed is the only thing that will ease my anxiety. On the day of shooting, I’m often trapped in a stressful truck because I can’t smoke, because I don’t want to be too high in front of the camera, and I have to smoke badly because my fear of filming is out of control.
Good day bites kill it in situations like this. I pop one a few hours before filming, and it offers the perfect balance I need to hit the show without worrying too much about it. It takes the edge off and offers a boost in clarity, relief, and excitement.
Bottom line
Pantry combines high quality, functional ingredients to create one of my favorite edibles on the market. Good Day Bites are little joys that make your world a better place. It shines at combating stress and anxiety, and is just as effective in downtime as it is in playtime.
