Want to see the cannabis harvest in California’s Humboldt County? This company will take you for free

Have you ever wondered what a cannabis crop looks like in one of the world’s most legendary growing regions?

It’s probably like nothing you’ve ever experienced: weed as far as your eyesight can reach, the buds give off their unique smells and contrast with beautiful sunsets, the sound of plants swaying in the wind.

What’s even more magical and breathtaking than the cultivation itself is harvest time, when the plants are at their best. For outdoor grows in the US, this usually takes place between October and November. According to the Green Market Report, around 80 to 85% of the outdoor cannabis of the legal cannabis industry is harvested in this short period of time.

Now you have the opportunity to experience the famous “Croptober” festival in Humboldt County, California, up close.

Cannadips, a company that makes hemp CBD bags to help people quit, is pulling back the redwood curtain and inviting 10 lucky people to review the upcoming cannabis harvest. During the tour, participants visit several farms in one day: from Xotic Flavorz, Ridgeline Farms and Humboldt 36 Farms to CannaCountry Farms, Arcata Fire and Ammo Brand.

Between May 1st and June 30th, a total of 4 winners of the Croptober Getaway competition will be drawn every 2 weeks. A final winner will be announced on June 30th and selected through an Instagram competition in which the author of the best photo with the hashtag # Croptober2021 will be won a free trip to Humboldt.

All winners receive a plus one for the trip, increasing the total number of guests to ten.

A special occasion

Case Mandel, co-founder of Cannadips, said the fact that his product is sold in more than 6,000 stores nationwide makes his brand the largest CPG brand in Humboldt County.

“We take this seriously and use our brand as a vehicle to present the other great innovators and craftsmen from our region who have put cannabis and Humboldt on the map,” he said.

And Mandel takes the Humboldt identity of his company very seriously.

“Croptober is so special to us: It welcomes the people in our region to experience something that has been illegal for over 50 years, and shows them not just another monoculture field in Southern California, but high-quality, artisanal Humboldt cannabis. ”

Cody King, founder of Xotic Flavorz, one of the farms people will visit during the tour, added, “I’ve been involved with cannabis since I was born in southern Humboldt. Our community was one of secrecy and craft innovation. In the past few generations, we haven’t taken the risk of corporate cannabis stealing our thunder. We’re excited to work with Cannadips and show people across the country how great Humboldt and the cannabis culture really are. “

“I’ve been running in the Humboldt mountains since 2009. It is an honor to make the transition into the legal industry and then to create a leading national CPG brand rooted in this region. We are now joining forces to be a vehicle for our consumers and to give them access to the amazing growers and producers that have made this region famous. It’s the Emerald Triangle Baby, we’ll polish it and let it shine, ”concluded Mandel.

“It’s been a crazy transformation from the old days of working the hills behind closed gates to Croptober and attracting consumers across the country.”
