Growing up in the Bronx, New York, Will Perry remembers smelling weed in his house as a teenager and later being curious about it when Wiz Khalifa released How Fly. He describes listening to the mixtape “three or four times in a row without skipping,” a night he would describe as a “spiritual experience” that opened his eyes to the “magic” of cannabis.

A self-proclaimed “cannapreneur”, Will, along with his business partner Adriana Ruiz, founded Carlile Magic Hour Cannabis, a Portland-based dynamic craft cannabis cultivation and lifestyle brand.

The company specializes in producing premium organic, pesticide-free cannabis flower with rich terpene profiles. Will tells Leafly that with Magic Hour he wants to help bridge the gap between weed and culture, using social media to convey that “Cannabis is about much more than getting high: it’s an incredible plant, that evokes creativity, positivity and calm. ”
