Vaccinated and stressed? Here’s what you can do to get some peace of mind

The surge in coronavirus cases and stress surrounding the Delta variant is not pleasant. Especially for those who have stopped socializing and hanging out with loved ones to protect themselves and others. While the vaccine appeared to be the answer to the pandemic, it is not.

It’s understandable that after following COVID-19 guidelines, getting vaccinated and still feeling at risk for the disease, one might feel stressed and angry. While it’s informative and important to know that Florida is dealing with a huge increase in COVID-19 cases, if you don’t live there, this isn’t the most relevant information when it comes to your daily life. Stay informed of your local transmission rates and know that if your community has a low COVID-19 rate and a high vaccination rate, you will be very well protected.

If you live in an area with high COVID-19 and low vaccine rates, the opposite is true. It would be helpful to wear a mask indoors or in crowded spaces as you are likely to be exposed to a wide variety of people who may or may not be vaccinated.

Only vaccinated events are growing in popularity and are an efficient way to protect everyone involved. While they can be a little controversial for the people you know who aren’t vaccinated, make sure you only hang out with those who have their vaccine if they’ll give you security.
