Those who get COVID-19 after receiving the Pfizer vaccine also suffer from it

COVID-19 vaccines have contained the pandemic and are the only measure that can enforce some control. According to the CDC, groundbreaking COVID-19 cases relate to any case where someone gets COVID-19 two weeks after receiving their last COVID-19 syringe. Much is unknown about these infections, but new research has found a trend in over 40% of groundbreaking COVID-19 cases in people vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.

The study, published in the journal Clinical Microbiology and Infection, tracked 152 participants who had been vaccinated with Pfizer and tested positive for COVID-19. The study concluded that 40% of these patients were immunocompromised, including people undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplant recipients, and more.

A deeper look into the study showed that people with comorbidities made up a significant number of infections. 71% of the patients had high blood pressure, 48% from diabetes, 27% from heart failure, etc. Only 6% of the patients with breakthrough infections had no comorbidities.

“We found that severe COVID-19 infection, which is associated with a high mortality rate, could develop in a minority of fully vaccinated people with multiple comorbidities. Our patients had a higher rate of comorbidities and immunosuppression compared to previously reported unvaccinated, hospitalized COVID-19 patients, ”according to the study’s authors.

Despite this seemingly alarming data for immunocompromised people, groundbreaking COVID-19 infections remain very low. The real risk lies with unvaccinated people, who continue to make up the majority of the COVID-19 infections and deaths that are on the news now. These deaths and infections are preventable; People just have to go and take their pictures.
