This quick marijuana tea will help you sleep
A busy schedule sometimes leads to hard nights. The phrase “I’m so tired when I fall on the pillow, I’m out” doesn’t work for everyone. Chronic stress or hectic pace increases the risk of insomnia. While episodes of acute stress can disrupt sleep for days, sleep usually returns to normal once these episodes pass. But sometimes you need a little help. This quick marijuana tea will help you sleep.
Avoid caffeine and drink mint teas, hop teas, chamomile and other herbs that naturally relax the body. During the holidays, peppermint can help you fall asleep and stay asleep longer. The essential oils in peppermint tea can help relax your muscles and set the stage for a peaceful night's sleep. Peppermint tea is rich in antioxidants and offers many other benefits. Using the dose of THC you may have already consumed, create a tea blend with the exact flavors you enjoy.

Opt for finely ground decarboxylated cannabis stirred into hot milk as your cannabis dose, or you can use a tincture for THC. Either is fine, but remember that you won't get THC by simply pouring water over ground cannabis, although you may get some lower heat spectrum terpenes and cannabinoids, and these have their own sleep magic too.

Either use the proportions above or prepare a mixture of lightly chopped flowers to your taste. If you want, you can leave them whole to make them prettier. Anything good for sleep fits into this mix. If you add ground cannabis to the mix, make sure it has been ground very finely and heated as if you were making cannabutter. Divide the tea mixture into two portions or pour it into a classic teapot. Pour water over it and let it steep for 5 minutes before adding sweetener and sipping. If using tincture, add it now.

Alternatively, you can prepare a milky tea concentrate in the style of an Indian chai latte or oriental rose tea. Add aromatics and cannabis to a pot with milk and a little honey, simmer for 5-10 minutes, strain, serve with sweeteners and add hot water. This will give you a little more cannabinoids, and if you simmer longer, you'll eventually get THC too. Always use milk carefully on the stove.

*Cannabis glycerin tincture
Decarboxylate 3.5g of finely ground cannabis at 225 degrees for 20 minutes in a tightly closed, oven-safe container. Place cannabis in a lidded mason jar or vacuum-sealed bag with cannabis and 1/2 cup of vegetable glycerin. Heat in a water bath for at least 1 hour just below boiling point. Strain and cool to use in recipes. Fall asleep faster if you have a busy day ahead of you, and if you're trying to keep the bedroom smoke-free but need that helper, this method is an excellent choice. If you wish, you can make the dry herbal blend in bulk and add either tincture as a medicinal sweetener or steamed milk to stimulate the lower cannabinoids.
