Summer begins and what could be nicer than one of these perfect cocktails! Happy Memorial Day!

This weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer and nothing says celebration like a refreshing drink that is shared with friends and family. Regardless of whether you prefer gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila or something bubble, here five audience drinks are behind you with a bit of history. Here are the recipes for the perfect memorial day cocktails.

The classic Tom Collins

This Citrus classic dates from the 19th century and was particularly popular thanks to its easy-to-drink profile in America.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of London Dry Gin
  • 1 UNGRESS Lemon juice
  • 0.5 ounces of simple syrup
  • Club -Soda to the top

Create

  1. Shake gin, lemon juice and syrup with ice cream
  2. Strain into a high glass with ice cream
  3. Top with soda
  4. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry

Peach and black tea highball

French 75

The French 75 was grabbed after a mighty artillery artillery weapon from the first 20th century and blisters mixed with botanical notes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounces gin
  • 0.5 ounces lemon juice
  • 0.5 ounces of simple syrup
  • 3 ounces champagne or Prosecco

Create

  1. Shake gin, lemon and syrup with ice cream
  2. Strain into a flute and with bubble
  3. Garnish with a lemon distortion

Peach & Black Tea highball

Inspired by southern Veranda traditions, this highball gives a classic sweet tea with a modern whiskey backbone.

  • 1½ ounces bourbon
  • ½ ounces peach liqueur or puree
  • 3 ounces of chilled black tea
  • Lemon or peach wedge for garnish

Create

  1. Fill large glass with ice cream
  2. Add all the bourbon, peach liqueur and black tea
  3. Gently stir
  4. Garnish with lemon or peach wedge

Spicy paloma verde

The paloma, the real national cocktail Mexicos (sorry, Margarita), receives a green upgrade with Jalapeño and fresh herbs. The spicy is a perfect way to combat the heat while it feels like the opposite. The feeling of heat from spicy foods triggers a cooling reaction in the body with sweating.

Ingredients

  • 2 UNGIES TEQUILA
  • 1 in the fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounces of agave syrup
  • 2 ounces grapefruit soda (like Jarritos)
  • 2 Jalapeño disc for garnishing

Create

  1. Misly mess up 1 Jalapeño slices in cocktail -shaker light
  2. Add tequila, lime and agave and shake lightly
  3. Strain into a salt edge glass
  4. Top with soda
  5. Garnish with 2nd Jalapeño disc

Black Michelada

This version, a darker, sharper cousin in the base beer cocktail, uses a dark Mexican camp and a smoky mezcal for depth. Micheladas probably came in Mexico in the 1940s.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounces mezcal
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • 3 strokes hot sauce
  • 1 Dash Worcestershire
  • 1 Click Tajín or Chili salt
  • Dark Mexican camp (black model or similar)

Create

  1. Rim a pint glass with tajín
  2. Mix mezcal, lime, hot sauce and Worcestershire
  3. Top with beer
  4. Stir gently and enjoy
