The five best CannaMoms to follow
Cannabis legalization is spreading rapidly around the world, most recently in the United States. And while the cannabis industry creates new opportunities like holistic care and jobs, it is also having an impact on one of the largest communities in the world – mothers.
Today, women who have given birth or become primary caregivers have traded wine for weed, and that is catching on quickly. A recent study found that out of 855 women who tried THC or CBD to reduce anxiety and pain, positive benefits of up to 91 percent were rated. Yet despite ongoing research and positive testimonials, mothers who have never tried cannabis before are afraid to try it in the first place.
Since society holds mothers by a standard, women don’t want to risk judgment. Women know that their actions are questioned not only in our professional work, but also in the household. But one of the problems that can counteract this stigma is that mothers have fellowship. Mothers need a solid foundation of like-minded women who use cannabis in their lives out of fear and greater self-acceptance. Fortunately, we live in an era of technology and can find our tribe anywhere. These five cannamoms we’ll be following do just that.
These women below are breaking the mold of making cannabis as normal as drinking a glass of wine at night. And these tough influencers are paving the way for stigmata to disappear in women’s health and lifestyle. Check out these top canna moms to follow on Instagram:
