According to Green Entrepreneur, when you ingest cannabis, THC is metabolized by the liver and converts into 11-hydroxy-THC. For some reason, this compound crosses the blood-brain barrier up to four times faster than average THC. For this reason, edibles are associated with intense, vivid, and hallucinatory experiences.

Edibles require more experienced users because their dosage is so damn complicated. If you’ve ever made your own edibles and tried to figure out what’s in them, you know what I mean.
