The big change in perspective on cannabis is taking place right before our eyes
Earlier this year, Amazon publicly announced that it was no longer considering testing for cannabis at its facilities.
The world turned to monkey shit!
Now Apple is joining the party with a new announcement stating that marijuana-related apps will be allowed on the App Store. While there are rules, this is a big change in the way public / corporate interaction with cannabis is used.
We’ll take a look at the specific changes they’ve made to their policy and how that will play out into a full state redesign of the facility. We kind of know where the Biden administration wants to go with cannabis planning, but we’ll see how it turns out.
In the meantime, let’s take a closer look at Apple’s policy shift.
The apple and the weed
Here is Apple’s updated policy;
“Apps that encourage the consumption of tobacco and steam products, illegal drugs or excessive amounts of alcohol are not allowed in the App Store. Apps that encourage minors to use these substances will be rejected. Facilitate the sale of controlled substances (with the exception of licensed pharmacies and licensed or otherwise legal cannabis pharmacies), or tobacco is not allowed. “
“Apps that offer services in highly regulated areas (e.g. banking and financial services, healthcare, gambling), legal cannabis useand air travel) or that require sensitive user information filed by a legal entity that provides the services, and not from a single developer. Apps that support the The legal sale of cannabis must be geo-restricted to the appropriate jurisdiction. “
Basically, Apple says you can have an app for delivering weed on the App Store, though;
-
Your app is submitted by the legal entity (pharmacy, delivery service, etc.).
-
You are in a legal cannabis zone
-
You need to prove that you are licensed by the state
This will give pharmacies and delivery services, transportation services and other related companies in the cannabis space access to millions of potential customers.
This shift is massive!
However, Google still doesn’t get any of this as their policy is as follows:
“We don’t allow apps that make marijuana or marijuana products easier to sell, regardless of legality,” it said, adding that some examples of violations include “allowing users to sell marijuana through an in-app shopping cart feature order “or” Assistance to users in arranging the delivery or collection of marijuana. “
Given that Apple is one of the most valued companies in the world, this public policy change will have an impact on corporate culture around the world.
What’s happening?
There is a shift taking place in the mass consciousness of humanity. This has been happening for a while and in the past two years the shift has been much more intense.
We are coming to the “end of an era” and are going a new way. I often tell people that “The last days of what was look very similar to the first days of what is to come. ”
What we have to recognize is that the WORLD HAS ALREADY CHANGED and we are only now seeing that the parts fit into their new configuration. The end of the old ways means the destruction of ideology, certain institutions and norms and the adoption of new norms and standards.
We know this has already affected things that were once considered “unshakable” such as gender and the overall fluidity of the self. The inner representations of the self are now explicitly projected onto society – and as a result there are many arguments.
Whether this is good or bad is a matter of perspective and context.
Most people these days could give two shits off about their sexual or gender preferences as long as it doesn’t interfere with the freedom and opportunities of others. The same goes for race, sex, etc.
Regardless of what the media machine is trying to sell – when you actually talk to people on the street with no political filters – most people are pretty tolerable with other people’s preferences.
Cannabis has long been a contentious issue in society.
The youth used it as a means of rebellion, politicians used it as an instrument of power and support. The police used it to bend the law to give them more powers.
The essence of the bygone era is based on the suppression of cannabis. It was an era when people blindly trusted the government, accepted their rule as final, and never questioned anything.
Those days are over!
The pendulum swung the other way. Now we don’t know who to trust, we question everything!
But this is only a temporary situation – don’t be afraid of the little ones. At the moment we are in the great paradigm shift. We are giving up old “obsolete ideals” and introducing new, updated behavioral algorithms.
Some of the new ideas are rejected. No matter what you try or say, there are still some basic fundamentals that the vast majority won’t bow to.
However, there will be some things that will change radically. For example, before the end of this century – if we don’t blow ourselves up – we will colonize space.
With the return of the psychedelic revolution, we will enter a second “awakening”. Cannabis has already enabled enough of the world’s population to break free from old paradigms to become more agile in thinking.
If you add psychedelics to the mix, you can be sure that it will have repercussions for music, technology, literature, culture, etc.
The neo-psychedelic revolution comes and begins with the full legalization of cannabis. This neo-psychedelic revolution will be a long way from the Peace & Love movement of the 1960s. This will be far more scientific.
However, “peace and love” will continue to be a central theme in healing psychological wounds, as these are the mechanisms of healing. It just isn’t represented by nudity and beards.
In the recreational sector, you can be sure that once the pharmaceutical industry gets a grip on psychedelics, the pharmaceutical industry will be sure to get them out into the open.
The older generations will die out – and with them their ideas. The younger generation, the generation giving birth to babies these days – they are all the underdogs who helped birth the internet, popularized adult cartoons, and acted as a bridge between “then and now.”
These adults who take on leadership roles in society will be sharing their ideas in the form of apps, literature, films, etc., over the next 10 years or so.
Until then, cannabis is completely legal.
We just have to be careful that the dinosaurs of the old industry – like Biden and his crew – don’t give cannabis exclusively to pharmaceutical companies.
It would be hard to sell, but if at any point this year they recommend putting cannabis on Schedule II status, I beg you to protest, damn it!
That would be a seizure of power by the corporations.
But I digress….
