Rose Kennedy
This perfect midweek drink is delicious, low in calories, and contains cranberries! Named after JFK's mother, Rose Kennedy, it has long been popular. It was developed and named in a gay bar in DC called Trumpets in the early 90s. This is not to be confused with a Cape Cod.

- 1st chapter vodka
- 1st chapter Mineral water
- Squirt Cranberry juice
- 1 lemon slice
- Ice

- Fill a rocks glass with ice
- Pour in vodka, club soda and a splash of cranberry juice

Negroni
Rose Kennedy had a somewhat strained relationship with her most famous daughter-in-law, Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Jackie didn't drink the famous vodka, she preferred the more cosmopolitan Negroni. The atmosphere of the cocktail makes midweek a little more fun.

- 1 1/2 Ounces gin
- 1 1/2 ounces Campari
- 1 1/2 ounces sweet (Italian) Wormwood
- Ice

Free Cuba
Although the drink was named after an American military man, it is considered a symbol of Cuban nationalism. The cocktail is so popular in Cuba that it is often referred to simply as “Ron con Coca” (rum and cola). It's the perfect drink to add some flavor during the week!

Ranch water
Not surprisingly, this cocktail was developed in Texas, home of large ranches. In fact, King Ranch is the largest ranch in the United States. It brings a spicy mixture into the week. The term mezcal refers to spirits made from the agave plant, while tequila refers to a specific type of mezcal that can only be made from the blue Weber agave in five Mexican states. Reposado tequila remains in barrel for 2 months to a year, depending on the flavor profile a distiller wants to achieve.
