The south side
The Southside is a cocktail from the prohibition period, which is assumed that it comes from Chicago's south side. It was a favorite among Speakeasy guests that needed something smooth to mask the hardness of the gin bathtub.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces gin
- 3/4 ounces of fresh lime juice
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- 6–8 mint leaves that save one for garnish

- Misate the stomach coin with lime juice and syrup in a shaker
- Add gin and ice cream, shake well
- Load into a chilled coupé
- Garnish with a mint branch
Strawberry basil Smash
This cocktail is a modern turn on the classic “smash” and celebrates spring products. Smashes dates from the 19th century as a category of Julep-like drinks with herbs and fruit. Fresh strawberries and basil are spring reasons that offer an aromatic, subtle sweet taste. MINT is in the season and this refreshing mix makes an ideal cocktail before dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounces of lemon juice
- 1/2 oz honey syrup (1: 1 honey and water)
- 2 strawberries
- 2 basil leaves
Create
- Musical strawberries with basil with lemon juice and syrup
- Add vodka and ice cream and shake well
- Strain into a stone glass over fresh ice
- Garnish with a basil blade
Rhubarb paloma
The Paloma, a drink based in tequila, is the answer to Mexico to the Margarita, which is often considered more popular on site. This version receives a tied twist with rhubarb syrup. Rhabarber is in the season and fits wonderfully with citrus fruits for a spicy, bubbling cocktail.

- 1 in the fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 ounces of rhubarb syrup

- 1 Ung older blossom liqueur (like St-Germain)
- 3 ounces of dry sparkling wine
- 1 Unz soda water
Create
- Combine all the ingredients with an ice cream -filled wine glass
- Gently stir
- Garnish with a lemon torture or edible flower
Cucks Collins
This version is a reef on the Tom Collins and adds a crunchy cucumber to the classic gin cooler from the 19th century. Cucumber brings a cooling element that fits gins with gins botanical profile.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces gin
- 1 UNGE Lemon juice
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- 3 cucumber slices
- soda water
Create
- Misate the cucumber in a shaker, add gin, lemon juice and syrup
- Shake with ice
- Strain into a high glass with ice
- Top with soda
- Garnish with a cucumber band
