I had the chance to ask co-owner Josh Brazier a few questions about the company.

What was your mission when you started your company?

When we first started we only had one product, now known as The Enhancer; a purely natural CO2 generator that was developed to supplement the CO2 content in the grow room. Our mission was to put it in the hands of growers and growshops everywhere. We knew it worked very well, but hardly anyone else did and as a result, we encountered a lot of skepticism and disbelief, especially in the early days.

JB

How did you come up with the name of your company?

When we started experimenting with The Enhancer, we knew we had something special. Early on we had breeders who tested our prototype, and when we asked someone specifically what they thought of the product, their answer was: “There is nothing better!” Shortly afterwards we took up this statement and TNB was founded. We added Naturals at the end as we wanted to focus our efforts on all-natural products.

JB

What is unique about your company?

One of the most unique aspects of our business is our flagship product, The Enhancer. Nobody had really seen anything like this before it was released, and when we developed the Refill Pack that would allow growers to reuse their original Enhancer bottle, we got even more attention. In addition, The Enhancer is sensitive to heat and light. When the grow lights are on it produces CO2 and when the lights go out it slows down the release of CO2 to give your plants a break.

JB

How would you describe the success of your company to date?

It’s been a long road with all sorts of setbacks and speed bumps, but we’ve never stopped dragging and we’ve had a lot of success in a relatively short period of time. Initially we sold locally, then throughout Canada, then to the USA, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa and most recently we entered the South American market with sales agreements in Argentina and Chile. As of today, we’re available on six of the seven continents and we’re still looking for a way to invade Antarctica. So if anyone reading this is interested, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

JB

Do you have competition and if so, what makes you stand out?

When we started we were definitely the underdog, especially when it came to CO2. There were more established companies that already had products in the market, but over time and with the introduction of our refill we have gained more and more market share.
