The 14 best shows to watch

A 2018 study by a media and branding company “discovered” something cannabis users have long known: cannabis can improve the viewing experience. Colors become more vivid, dialogues are often funnier or more haunting, storylines that seem unthinkable in real life suddenly appear quite plausible, and everything on the screen feels “deeper”.

Whether it’s a sativa that keeps you creative, energized, and laughable, or an indica that puts you in the sweet spot of relaxation, here are some shows to watch when you’re high.

The Great British Bake Off

It’s true that cannabis can give you cravings, so why not be inspired by this British (and American) hit? Check out amateur bakers making cakes, breads, pastries and desserts in a competition to win the title of best amateur baker in the UK. For a bonus, it’s always fun to choose a side in the drama of the reality show contestants and listen to the hosts hand out equal servings of booze and praise. But of all the shows on Netflix, this is a must see.

planet Earth

There is nothing more reassuring than the gentle voice of naturalist, journalist and narrator David Attenborough, who recounts the migration of monarch butterflies across the American continent and many other instances of natural phenomena.

A nature documentary series might do well for someone venturing into green territory. For others, nature documentaries offer an opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy the amazing wonders of our planet.

The simpsons

The Simpsons is the longest running American sitcom by comedic genius Matt Groening and is now entering its 32nd year. Rick and Morty

This adult science fiction comedy from Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon follows a mad and often drunk scientist named Rick Sanchez and his cautious, fearful grandson Morty Smith.
