barbecue sauce

Barbecue sauce comes in so many different varieties. They even come in different colors and textures. Here we give you a recipe for a recipe that is closer to its southern original and, moreover, extremely easy to prepare. Of course, the best use for this sauce is grilling meat, but you can also use it to coat quesadillas, make cauliflower barbecues, pulled pork sandwiches, and more.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup cannabis oil

  • 1 cup of water

  • 2 cups of ketchup

  • 5 tbsp. sugar

  • 5 tbsp. light brown sugar

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1 TBSP. Worcester sauce

  • ½ tbsp ground mustard powder

  • ½ tbsp onion powder

  • ½ tbsp ground black pepper

Procedure:

  1. Put all ingredients in a saucepan.

  2. Turn the heat to low and let it simmer gently for 15-20 minutes.

  3. Pour into a bowl and use as a dip or marinade.

Buffalo Wings

Deep fried or air fried buffalo wings are always a crowd puller for both children and adults. These classic American appetizers have been around for a long time, but they will always be a classic. Heck, even if it’s appetizers, nothing stops someone from making a whole meal out of buffalo wings!

Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. If you want to deep fry, heat the oil in a large saucepan or deep fryer until it reaches 190°C.

  2. Combine all the ingredients except the wings, cannabutter, regular butter, hot sauce, and garlic powder in a large bowl and use a spatula or your hands to mix well.

  3. Using either tongs or your hands, dip the wings into the mixture for a light coating. Place on a wire rack and let sit for 5 minutes.

  4. Dip the wings in the oil again for about 10 minutes or once it has reached a golden brown color. You may want to fry the wings in batches to avoid overcrowding the fryer, which reduces the likelihood of the meat being cooked evenly.

  5. In a separate pan, melt the cannabutter and regular butter over low heat. Add the hot sauce and garlic powder, plus a little more black pepper if you like. Mix until well combined, then add the chicken wings to coat thoroughly with this sauce.

  6. Serve immediately.

Note: If you intend to air fry the chicken wings, do the same thing but without dipping the chicken in oil – place it in the air fryer at 180C instead.

devil eggs

A party isn’t complete without deviled eggs, a popular finger food that oozes decadence. But it’s also extremely easy to prepare, even when lit up with a cannabis infusion! Devil Eggs are also perfect for game days or when guests are coming home at the last minute – they’re quick AND delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 10 large eggs

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 pinch baking powder

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 ½ tsp cannabis oil

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  • 2 anchovy fillets, chopped

  • horseradish

  • Smoked paprika for sprinkling

Procedure:

  1. In a large saucepan that can fill all the eggs, add cold water.

  2. Add the eggs, then the baking soda and bring the water to a boil. Let it cook for 1 minute and then turn off the heat.

  3. Cover the pot and let it rest for 8 minutes.

  4. Place the eggs in a bowl filled with ice for 2-4 minutes and continue peeling.

  5. Halve the eggs lengthways.

  6. Place the yolks in a separate bowl while the whites sit on a serving tray.

  7. In the bowl with egg yolks, add mayonnaise, mustard, cannabis oil, pepper and anchovies. Mix until well incorporated. Taste and season as needed.

  8. Fill a piping bag or large ziplock bag with the corner cut off. Pipe the filling into the cooked egg whites.

  9. Top with a dollop of horseradish and sprinkle with paprika.

Serve and enjoy!
