Sphere in Las Vegas is getting a cannabis competitor
Vegas has a history of outstanding attractions that delight and captivate millions of tourists. From stars like Elvis and Céline to the Chihuly ceiling to the world’s tallest roller coaster, the city is constantly thinking about how to appeal to the daily crowd. The newest, The Sphere, is the VERY most expensive spherical structure and concert hall in the world. The $2 billion world starts with U2 as a guest. Each evening offers an incredible visual experience as the sphere is also a giant screen with a variety of innovative performances.
But hot on the heels of the Sphere is Cannabition, a state-of-the-art, immersive cannabis experience opening next to Planet 13. With 90% of the country open to some form of legal cannabis, this should prove to be a major attraction – like Kentucky and their bourbon! The 12,000 square foot immersive cannabis experience has brought the creators to make the experience incredible with or without that little extra (wink wink).
But the founders don’t stop there.
The immersive experience has just announced a significant partnership. Cannabition welcomes legendary founder of Outlaw Country, Mr. Willie Nelson, and his acclaimed brand, Willie’s Reserve. The teams put their hands together to give guests a “badass good time”!
Nelson, a music and marijuana icon, has spent seven decades changing the way people view cannabis and has been an advocate for legalization.
His team shared, “With our new partnership at Cannabition, Willie’s Reserve is excited about the opportunity to turn Willie Nelson’s dream of legal weed into a new, immersive experience in legendary Las Vegas. “Now that’s entertainment!”

Vegas had 38.8 million visitors in 2022. In terms of global tourism, Sin City ranks fifth in the world and first in the United States. In 2015, 84% of visitors came from the USA.
Managing partner Pamela Hart explains: “From inception to expansion, our partners, sponsors and creative teams deliver a superior, immersive Vegas experience that is a must-do on every visit.”
The Cannabition team also includes LP Exotics. Marianna was founded by Marianna Arakelyan, who comes from the healthcare industry. Marianna pioneered the development of life-enhancing programs in the Western United States.
Managing Partner Andrew Laub shares, “Marianna Arakelyan has used her expertise and passion to create opulent, tailored products that delight consumers. The company and Arakelyan’s innovative and careful approach will be another asset that will delight visitors.”
