Small Business Spotlight: BRNT Designs
Small business spotlight: BRNT Designs
Hexagon ceramic bong
BRNT Designs is a Canada-based design company specializing in bongs and accessories that focus on design, functions and cleaning. They started with the Hexagon in 2017 and have evolved and are now shipping their specialty designs to the US.
Every product we create – in aesthetics, composition and design – must contribute to the normalization of cannabis and the tools for consumption.
BRNT Designs website
You can find her work in Forbes, Rolling Stones, Leafly, Now Magazine, The Growth Op, Bay Area Reporter, Exclaim !, Toronto Guardian, and many other media outlets. BRNT pride themselves on being selective about who they work with – staying true to the spirit of the brand and advocating cannabis use.
The geometric designs are both freezer safe and (although I’ve never gone through a bong before) dishwasher safe. More importantly, they look absolutely evil.
Almost like a contemporary art sculpture, BRNT designs add a bit of class to any room. You don’t have to pretend these bongs are vases. The pieces are inspired by Daniel Libeskind, move with the flow of the planes and at the same time offer the smoothest possible transport.
Prism tube
The BRNT Designs prism
Visually striking, the Prism is inspired by LED lights and directs the light in two different ways in order to really shine.
“The ergonomic base is an example of ingenuity and fits perfectly in your hand while providing maximum internal surface area that allows the smoke to cool down and create the perfect cannabis experience.”
BRNT Designs website
Accidents happen, and BRNT Designs also sells various sets and bangers to replace anything that might have broken. The marbled storage jar and the rolling tray are the basic images of Instagram cannabis accounts. The design and style top the charts and set a perfect accent for any home decor. Finally a storage box that you don’t have to hide.
We papers
The Kami papers
In addition, BRNT sells 32 papers and tips in nifty packages for four US dollars. Maybe it will show my age, but the fact that they have a magnetic clasp amazes me.
While the website needs another major overhaul, the design of the bongs and pipes by BRNT Designs is outstanding. Smooth lines and functionality are the names of the game – and they won. The prisms are semi-opaque, meaning they change color as the smoke builds up – yet are easy to clean and stain resistant so your pipe always looks good.
Faro
The Faro is an interesting concept. A concrete pipe that makes cleaning and traveling easier. However, it’s something new that this stoner has never tried and makes me wish I could take this pipe for a run.
All in all, I recommend anyone looking for a new bong or pipe to try BRNT Designs before making their next purchase. The Instagram account is bursting with great lifestyle shots of the products in the wild.
The example of a bespoke white hexagon is beautiful and I really wonder how they managed to get this shot. So check it out on Instagram and drop a few lines to your friendly local writer – Emily – and tell me which bong is your favorite!
