Small Business Spotlight: Alternative Greens – Breaking cannabis news today

With so many different pharmacies and head shops to choose from, this is a great time to be a cannabis user. Some businesses can manage to stay competitive in today’s market even though the laws of selling cannabis change the daily feeling. Alternative Greens was one of the first stores to open in Edmonton and has evolved and changed over time.

Previously, the store had a customer appreciation day on Thursdays where you could get 15 percent off your purchase, as well as a late night special. Today, due to changes in the law, they have a permanent 10 percent discount and have moved the accessories and snacks down two doors. The discount may attract some customers, but the service and knowledge of the staff is what makes you want to come back.

Locally owned and operated

Alternative Greens differs from the average chain store in everything from the atmosphere to the entrance. It almost feels like walking into a whisper bar when you walk through the front door and wait for a member of staff to take you to the main store. Refill day is Monday and is a great time to get your best selection. The store is very popular, so weekend picking can sometimes be tight.

You have come to the right place for those who want a wide range of products. Alternative Greens has enough stock to make everyone feel like a kid in a candy store. The shop is very proactive about new products and usually keeps them ready as soon as they are legally allowed to sell whatever it may be. Interestingly, some varieties and companies have discounts – for example, if you buy one product, you get another product at a discount. It’s a great way to try other products that you might not have thought of before.

The newly opened accessories shop offers a large selection of different bongs, papers, blunts containers and more. It’s a great place to pick up your papers, detox kits, and snacks – a deadly combination! Full-size chocolate bars at regular prices make the heart of every stoner beat faster. The store currently has high quality – albeit mass produced – bongs so it will be interesting to see what else they bring into the store.

It is worth noting that while most of the equipment is available online, the prices in the store are better than what you can find in various places online. Personally, I fell in love with the rolling tray selection. The wide variety and affordable price make it difficult not to shop spontaneously and to go home with a new tray every time you visit. This accessories store also lives up to the reputation of its sister business and once again has experienced employees who know what they are talking about and are enthusiastic about the products they carry.
