Rihanna perfected stoner fashion 5 times
If Rihanna is a joint, I’m a joint.
Stoner fashion. It can range from Grateful Dead t-shirts to tote bags reminding you to buy weed from women. And while every stoner has their own style, there is a bayan queen who always takes the cake.
Along with her unmistakable self-esteem and delivery of flawless seshing albums like ANTI, Rihanna encourages Kiffer everywhere to push the envelope when it comes to looking good and loving weed. She has provided us with tons of ensembles to discuss, but inspired by her stretch in Dazed on September 10, we’ve put together a short list of Rih’s top fashion looks for stoners.
1. The human joint

Here we see Rihanna dressed as a joint with a briefcase. I don’t know about you, but we at Leafly believe it offers the ultimate power luncheon outfit in the cannabis industry. The only question is whether the briefcase is full of nuggets, cash, or both. Probably both. And maybe a lip gloss.
2. That steamy vixen look
What we love about this photo is how Rihanna looks like an incredibly sultry bong hit. Not only does it blow clouds, it also turns into clouds. Any fashion critic worth it can see that they intend to continue to blow away and redefine what it means to be an absolute smoke show.
3. Her gold Met Gala dress from 2015

This look left our jaws on the floor in 2015 and made this list for more than one reason. Which stoner doesn’t like a comfortable coat blanket? Second, the golden tones here remind us of some of the most glorious concentrates we have ever seen. This is another example of fashion and stoner symbolism at the same time. Trust me.
4. That casual award acceptance outfit in the color of freshly ground grass
In 2020, Rihanna received an award in this matching green outfit. Not only does she literally look like a bow tie, but she also wears sunglasses. I can’t tell you how important sunglasses are to stoners. They are an essential accessory for keeping people out of our business, looking effortlessly cool, and hiding eyes that may droop a little low from a recent meeting.

Rih is obviously ready to light a blunt and light up a room in this fire look. It expresses a ridiculous sharpness and at the same time embodies the concept of appearing anytime, anywhere.
It is outfits like these that inspire us to live the life of stoners to the fullest and not be afraid to let our fashion show the world who we really are. Thanks for inspiring us, Rihanna!
