Review of Ebb Medicated Drink Powders
Colorado-based Ebb specializes in nanoemulsion powders that dissolve in foods and beverages. Its powders are available in both confectionery and unflavored varieties at pharmacies across the state, and are easily added to water, tea, coffee, juice, or even a dish with food.
Each Ebb cardboard cylinder contains 10 milligrams of THC per serving and is sweetened with stevia. The vibe is very similar to sugar packs or in my frame of reference the Crystal Light powdered drink packs that my parents drank in the 90’s. To be honest, I’m not sure which attracted me more, niche nostalgia or nanotechnology – both were spot on.
For the sake of sentimentality and contemporary consumption, we tested Ebb’s Wildberry and Pink Lemonade powders in a variety of beverages to see how versatile these unique edibles could be in our daily lives.

First impressions
Ebb’s cylindrical containers are approximately 5″ tall and slightly narrower than a soda can. The pretty color gradient of each container indicates its flavor: purple and blue for Wilberry, pink and yellow for Pink Lemonade, coral and orange for Orange Mango, and shades of blue for the unflavored Pure.
The straightforward branding is both easy to spot and interpret, and even the instructions are accompanied by graphics with an added suggestion to convert the Ebb container into a makeup brush holder – in case you were wondering who the target market for this one is product could be.
Once the container is opened, the inner design is revealed along with ten tiny powder packs, each about half the size and weight of a sugar pack. Upon opening, the fine powders inside are simply poured into the food or drink of your choice.
Pink lemonade powder
I auditioned Ebb’s Pink Lemonade strain on one of the most uplifting days parents can have: Parent Teacher Conference Day. My autistic son recently dropped out of school (relatable) and an entire team of educators, paraeducators, therapists and district officials gathered over a crowded Zoom call to discuss what options are available for a special needs dropout.
I added a packet of Pink Lemonade Ebb to the cup of green tea I would be sipping during the meeting and watched it dissolve cleanly while the nursing team said hello. The tea I used as a base had a bitter, grassy depth that sweetened the infused powder to soft drink levels.
Flavor-wise, the powder essentially felt like a sugar cube with an aggressive squeeze of lemon. In terms of effect, the onset was almost as abrupt as a heavy hit from a blunt. I maintained a cool demeanor during meeting moments when I would otherwise have been in tears or choked on my words. When the energy between facility and district got a bit harsh, instead of flinching, I leaned into the drama like I was watching a soap opera, which, believe me, is a necessary level of dissociation in gatherings of this nature.
Ebb not only delivered but kept my spirits lit for the rest of the afternoon.

wild berry powder
Having already tried the powders in still water, seltzer, and hot tea, I stepped out of my taste comfort zone by adding the Wildberry Ebb powder to a mildly flavored herbal energy tea and sipping it while strolling through a mostly deserted mall . My child loves running through the deserted corridors and hearing his voice, and I was content to blithely join in as he weaved among the few other late-capitalist spectators and older pedestrians in the malls.
Again, the effects were super manageable. I was calm and collected, completely undisturbed by passers-by who might have been gawking at my son’s stims or roars. My tolerance is such that 10 milligrams of THC is a very manageable dose, so the effects I felt from one pack were smooth and fluffy.
Instead of a swooning high, one pack delivered an adjustment of attitude, cool complacency, and a smooth body high that was appropriate at both moments of relaxation and moments of chasing a child through a mall. Your results may vary.

bottom line
Ebbe powders are easy to use, easy to dose, and carefully formulated for the modern cannathusiast. The ingredient lists are relatively simple, with just ten calories per tube and one gram of sugar.
Ebb would be a cool addition to your modern storage box, but after testing it myself I think I’ll probably save space in the flower jar box and keep a few packets of Ebb in my purse from now on.
