In the same “for the people” spirit, Preferred Gardens decided to bring these incredibly unique, extremely limited, oversized hand rollers to market. Each joint weighs 3 grams of premium indoor flowers, wrapped in King Size Elements paper, finished with an elegant wooden tip and meticulously handcrafted by one person (Michael Cabrera), which explains why these beefy guns are so rare.
This sample was a mixed salad that included both the famous RS-11 and Znacks (Chauffeur x Runtz). Znacks is considered owner Dave Polley’s personal favorite of the 260 strains in his current library, all grown from seed. The nose exuded a bold freshness fueled by notes of mint and pine, while the palate was a beautiful combination of sweet candy, hints of gelato-like cream and a citrusy hint in the finish. The effects leave you physically semi-sedated while also relieving you of any anxious feelings you may have accumulated from the work week. This helped achieve the perfect setting befitting a cannabis-friendly stand-up show consuming this particular joint. Be warned, you’ll likely need backup to take down this beast in a single hit, but seasoned smokers looking for a challenge can definitely consider this Everest of joints.
Production of the very first drop was extremely limited, sold in four stores in California and one in Florida. They’re trying to speed things up, so keep an eye out for new larger-scale offerings soon, but from the looks of it, it’s literally one guy launching them all in California. There will always be relatively limited drops.

One such offering is this 3-pack of 3.5g Zkittlez joints. When you add up the weight, these three pure flowering joints weigh in at a staggering 10.5g per pack – a rarity in the recreational market to say the least. Each joint features a sleek, branded wooden tip and is hand-rolled with king-size Elements paper. The December launch was huge with around 1,300 reels shipped to Greenwolf, Cookies Maywood and Packs SGV. However, the batch size will be limited to around 200-300 rolls in the future.
The material of this sample was extremely clean, had a nice green color and was free from any sign of unwanted deposits. When smoked, the joint had a fairly light Zkittlez flavor at first, but as it progressed a distinctly gassy must developed with a sharp citrus note that stayed constant throughout the rest of the smoke. One joint from this pack managed to topple three seasoned smokers in a single session. So be aware that while you can attempt to complete this adventure solo, you’ll likely need at least a second player to help you cross the finish line.

For the uninitiated, 710 Labs is a true household name in the world of legalized cannabis, and if you live in any of the various states where they operate, there’s no doubt you’ve seen one of their products on the shelf.
The folks at 710 Labs have long used noodles to support their personal joints, and after an overwhelmingly positive response to the first batch of tests, the decision was made to further develop the “noodle doink” model for wide release. Each hand roll begins with small drops of the top colas that didn’t quite make it into a glass. The techs remove all the stems, add a rotini pasta crutch, and roll it up in Element papers. They cut the doink to the right size by hand, rolled it and sealed it with a drop of distilled water along the glue line.
Randy Watzon #13 crosses Runtz x Wedding Crasher and delivers a powerful punch. There is a pungent lemon scent that crosses the line between candy and floor cleaner and is rounded off with a very tart aftertaste. The smoke has a sweet, lemon-gassy quality with a citrus note that coats the tongue after a few hits. The high comes on quickly and is so powerful you’ll wonder, “Do I even need to smoke that whole gram?” Alertness and a sense of self-awareness remain, but the mind tends to wander if not consciously engaged.
