New Brunswick COVID-19 Grocery Store Ban – Breaking News Today
The New Brunswick Provincial Government announced updates to their COVID-19 vaccine passport system. Grocery stores now have the authority to ask for your papers.
But if you want people to get the COVID vaccine then should you get them out of your grocery store?
I get it. Unvaccinated people get the vaccination because they have to eat. But in reality this doesn’t always happen. Unvaccinated people get angrier. And why shouldn’t they? Vaccination is just one of many ways to fight the virus. Suppose you already had the disease. Don’t you have antibodies stronger than the vaccine can deliver? The largest peer-reviewed practical study suggests this.
But if they can ban you from the grocery store, then of course they can ban you from the weed shop.
Retail cannabis was not even viewed as an essential service by many provinces. Evidence of vaccination was previously at the discretion of cannabis retailers. Unless you’re a gym or a restaurant, the mandate hasn’t gotten that far down … not yet. The New Brunswick grocery rule change leaves the option open to owners. It goes without saying that a mask must be worn in all public places in closed rooms.
All’s well that ends well, right? Not quite.
This is a pandemic for the unvaccinated. So they say. That justifies further restrictions. But the facts don’t match the narrative.
Not only unvaccinated people lie in hospital beds. Booster shots are necessary. The vaccine will become less effective over time. Boosters are part of vaccination records in several countries.
There are also problems with the vaccine trial data.
There are many reasons a person might choose not to have the COVID-19 vaccine. If this affects you, make sure you stay vaccinated with all boosters. But also make sure that you eat right and that you get plenty of sun and exercise. If you have access to a sauna, so much the better.
As for the New Brunswick grocery store restrictions, as well as cannabis restrictions, what should be done? A majority of Canadians support these restrictions. At least that is the point of the polls. In reality, it might be more difficult to get another March 2020 style lockdown.
Of course, neither small business owners nor cannabis users are thought of. Regarded as insignificant, the state decides its own fate.
Why did people become like this?
People need cannabis for their physical and mental health. Why would you force someone to take a novel drug for an infectious disease? Maybe you think I’ve already answered the question. The keyword is “contagious” – and I get it. It’s like driving a car. Your stupidity can kill me. So you need a license. And you breathe on me, can make me sick. So you need to be accountable for your actions. So we can both agree. One simple rationale that society can live with is non-aggression. As in “First, do no harm.”
But if you consistently pursue this, you would have to abolish the entire state apparatus. So how is evidence of COVID-19 vaccination regulations either effective or ethical?
