Marijuana fanatic Samantha blows in and just like that!

In a surprise that has delighted millions of fans, Samantha Jones has made a guest appearance on the Max series And Just Like That! Kim Cattrall became a star and icon in the original series Sex in the City. People watched as she greeted the morning with her views on sex, relationships, work, and marijuana.

Sex in the City premiered on June 6, 1998 and ended February 22, 2004, with 94 episodes aired over six seasons. It will continue to be broadcast on cable and streaming channels. Of the four co-stars, Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha Jones was the lightest and most outspoken – she set the tone for the “sex” part of town.

Freed, she tried everything from monogamy to fluid motion to serial one-night stands and everything in between. As a fan of the cocktail, she didn’t shy away from marijuana either. And that was before legalization.

In a sign of how things have changed, a bar has been sued to stop a cannabis incident. A week before the release of The Post-It Always Sticks Twice, a law firm filed filings to prevent HBO from airing the episode. The bar, which had been in operation for more than a decade as of 2003, objected to the fact that the characters used marijuana while at the nightspot. There are now 1,700 unlicensed businesses in NYC, although recreational activities are legal in the state, including some near the bars.

In the interview, Cattrall shared, “Let’s just say I’ve tried more than just marijuana and took a tip from Samantha – when you’re in an intimate situation it can definitely make you feel more relaxed.” accepting the fun things marijuana can do in and out of the bedroom.

Samantha’s cancer affliction also provided an opportunity to talk about medical marijuana. Although accepted at the time, it wasn’t as widespread and still carried a stigma. It was to be ten years before it actually came out of the closet.

Fans were devastated when Cattrall decided to scale back her involvement, and rumors of conflicting personalities abounded. The Sex in the City sequel And Just Like That struggled to find a voice and capture some of the magic. Maybe the return of Samantha can give it a little extra boost.

Cattrall opined, “Especially now that you can get marijuana in different flavors and flavors, it becomes like a wine itself.” And we suspect fans will enjoy cannabis, wine, or cocktails to see her performance.
