While COVID was still making headlines in 2021, the cannabis industry was thriving. Other states – like Arizona – opened weed stores. Other states like Montana, New Jersey, and New York were getting closer and closer to opening up cannabis businesses to consumers. And all sorts of new products like Delta-8 and Delta-10 came out.

At the end of 2021, 18 states had recreational cannabis and 37 had medicinal cannabis. Dominoes for legalization continue to drop, but prohibitionists still rule in several states.
