Earlier this week, Page Six of the New York Post caught Justin Bieber losing “over $ 1,000 on weed and edibles at once.”

That’s it. That was the whole point of the story. The Biebs bought weed. Stars – they are just like us!

Earlier this year, the Canadian-born pop star told his Legion of Popularers that “I Get my Weed from California” was featured in the song “Peaches.”

Little did we know Biebs wasn’t playing games. According to the Post, he lost a cool $ 1,000 on a 20-minute drive to Wonderbrett’s flagship store in LA’s Fairfax neighborhood.

Sure, he’s a multimillionaire, but I can’t help but imagine Justin standing there and having the budget tender call me. He counts the money he has in hand and hopes that he can get enough cash out. The budget tender gives him his sum: “ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS” and Justin says: “Oh snap! Can you hold I have to get some cash from the ATM. ”

The Page Six item arrived at Bieber like he’d just gone on some crazy shopping. But come on. If you’re a stoner like me, you know how hard it is to get out of a pharmacy for less than $ 80. Blink twice and you are at $ 150. The possibilities are limitless and so are my lungs. Redeem a $ 1,000 product? I could do this flat in 90 seconds.

Justin left Wonderbrett with his branded edibles in all flavors – which, according to their website, are available in papaya, pineapple, melon, orange banana and strawberry luck. I think Bieber has more than one bag of each, one bag of all other food and lunches for all of the staff in the store.

But seriously, I have to assume he has a health insurance card because there is no way he will issue a G and it will not exceed the legal re-purchase limit. (California’s limit is one ounce of flower and eight grams of concentrate per day. It is unclear what the limit is for edibles.)

Needless to say, Justin doesn’t break a sweat in a specific amount. The guy didn’t even try to play it casually and split it up into two trips to the pharmacy over the week … hoping to catch a different staff next time so nobody notices how often they come in. Not that I know anything about that.
