January 2022 Leafly HighLight: Peanut Butter Breathing Stress

Every month Leafly highlights a trending strain that you should know about – we call it Leafly HighLight.

Spicy, nutty and great for riding the Omicron wave on the couch with The Witcher. Peanut Butter Breath is the Leafly HighLight for January. If you haven’t tried it yet, open a glass. If so, celebrate victory for the prolific modern weed breeder, ThugPug.

Still growing in popularity, Peanut Butter Breath has 185 reviews on Leafly and a score of 4.6 out of 5. Reviewers praise its nutty, earthy, buttery taste and relaxed, happy feel. These types of high-THC indica hybrids can make you spacey and hungry.

It took me 7 attempts to log in to write this including resetting my password twice. I’ll finish the bowl as a reward for my efforts. Stay safe, ”says a Leafly reviewer.

“I didn’t feel like I got the nibbles, but I ate like 7 chocolate-covered caramel apple slices so tell me,” wrote another Leafly reviewer.

Peanut Butter Breath isn’t exactly a wake-and-bake strain – unless you have a long day of TV ahead of you. In general, it’s better after work when it’s time to put your feet up, make a grilled cheese sandwich, and work on your Minecraft base.

Peanut Butter Breath is a cross between Dosidos – Leaflys variety of the year 2021 – and Mendo Breath F2. Seeds and clones for the popular strain are selling quickly due to high demand.

The strain reportedly debuted in 2016 from Michigan breeder ThugPug via seed banks and Michigan stores. Several online retailers are now selling versions of this, and breeders are crossing it with other sizes like PB Triangles from Equilibrium Genetics.

These days, Thug Pug is continuing his work on the “Breath” strain family with strains like Road Apples, bringing Apple fritters together with genes from GMO, OG and Grateful Breath. A number of Meat Breath crosses will be sold out this January.

Like its parent Dosidos, PB Breath tests according to laboratory results rich in limonene, caryophyllene and linalool. This makes the grass smell spicy, earthy and sweet – it often smells of peanut butter.

More highlights this January

It’s official – the Leafly strain of 2021 has become a certified staple food in America. It’s number one in Arizona now. From coast to coast, grab Dosidos in flower or extract form.

Dosidos and Lava Cake for victory. PB Souffle is cuter than PB Breath and continues to garner fans. It also has similar effects: “I just want to sit on the couch, eat ravioli and do astral projects,” said one reviewer.

Poison from Durban

See you guys, classic sativa heads. Beat back the winter blues with the number five most wanted strain this winter in Colorado, our oldest and most mature rule of law. Hippies can attest to this, Durban and a cup of coffee prepare the psyche for whatever tasks these cold, short days might cause you. Bonus: no nibbles, consumers report – “Durban Poison is like the ‘espresso’ of cannabis.”

See you next month for another Leafly HighLight.
