I’ve tried the PAX Era Life for 6 months: I think so

Ain’t no mountain high enough for the PAX Era Life

In March 2021, PAX released the PAX Era Life, the latest addition to the ERA line of oil vaporizers. As a self-proclaimed PAX employee and working mom whose happy place is nature, my ears pricked up when they promised me an easy and convenient way to consume cannabis on the busiest days.

I usually prefer the taste and overall experience of a joint or my PAX 3, but I was curious if the PAX Era Life would change my mind and prove it lives up to its expectations. I put it to the test by pairing it with a Dutch Hawaiian PAX Era Pod from Heylo.

Now I’ve spent six months with my PAX Era Life, which it was called Paxington, and I’ve grown very fond of this little steamer. Here are the top reasons why the PAX Era Life is a solid vape choice for me – even after half a long year.

User-friendly and ready to use right out of the box

My Era Life is a bright and attractive red and fits easily in the palm of my hand. All I have to do is charge it up a little and plug it into my pod. Unlike my other PAX devices, the Era Life is ready to use right out of the box.

I loved being able to inhale a steady stream of vapor immediately once I had the capsule in place. I was impressed with the practicality and accessibility of the Era Life all along.

The short and slim housing of the device fits perfectly in my pocket and, thanks to the pop and click technology, I can switch between 4 heating levels with one hand.

An ideal vaporizer for hikers with taste

I am in the Pacific Northwest – a dream location for scenic hikes and outdoor experiences. After using the era life around the house, I decided to take it with me on a hike to Mt. Rainer National Park.

Stowed in my bum bag, the Era Life battery is strong and allows me to blow discreetly for 8 hours. I find that consuming it at lower heat levels not only extends battery life, but also gives the flavors of my Dutch Hawaiian pod a place at the table.

I later found out that the device checks thermal accuracy 125 times per second. So regardless of your favorite temperature, you can be sure that it is constant.

Durable and reliable

If you’ve had a PAX device before, you know it’s rugged. I’ve taken my Era Life everywhere from the park in my neighborhood to international travel. Because of this, it was dropped, stepped on, left outside, sat on it, and flattened.

The good news is that after six months my PAX Era Life is still working and bump-free. The bad news is that it has a few scratches on it. Fortunately, the Era Life has a sturdy aluminum body and is UL certified, which means it has gone through the same rigorous safety tests and protocols as headphones, laptops and devices.

I’ve never experienced this level of durability and reliability with any other steamer, so the scratches don’t bother me too much.

The final verdict

I’ve been feeling pampered since I got the PAX ERA Life. While only compatible with PAX pods, the pods are so high quality in terms of taste and cleanliness that they are a huge asset.

The Era Life fits easily into my busy and active life. At $ 35 I can even get an extra Era Life in one of the other 3 adorable colors. IMO if you’re active you can’t go wrong with the PAX Era Life.
