Is your weed good? That’s how you say it

Thanks to the legalization of cannabis in many US states, the plant has gone through a period of re-evaluation; People are in now for a variety of reasons, be it to relax, to party, to exercise, or for therapeutic reasons.

But how do you know if your weed is good? As with all things related to weed, the more exposed you are, the easier it will be.

Good quality cannabis starts with where you buy it all the way through to using all of your senses to get a full picture of what you are going to be consuming. Here are a few things to consider when buying weed:

The seller is important

Now that we live in an era of legalization, there is no need to smoke ugly looking weed. Start buying weed like you care about the fact that it is getting into your body. Check your local pharmacy or ask about vendors and brands that sell quality products. The more reputable the seller, the more likely your weed will be grown by ethical companies that focus on producing high quality cannabis containing a variety of cannabinoids.

Use your senses

Use all your senses to determine the quality of your product. Good quality grass should smell good and strong, look bright and colorful, and feel airy and light. The flower should separate when you put pressure on it; it shouldn’t fall apart on its own or be tight and sticky openly.

Once you’ve interacted with high quality weed, the bad stuff will be easier to spot. While you should stay away from any type of weed that smells, looks, or feels uncomfortable, you should also avoid strains that claim to have extreme effects. For example, if your seller tells you that they have a strain with over 30% THC potency, ask more questions as this seems unlikely. You also don’t need a strain with insane levels of THC to get the results you want or seek.
