Cannabis users are paying higher prices and their favorite suppliers are at risk of being robbed because the federal government treats banking legal cannabis dollars like banking heroin itself.

Last week, about 40 senators introduced the SAFE Banking Act as a bill in Congress that will go before the Senate Banking Committee.
