Inflation-crazed Snoop Dogg gave his blunt roller a raise

In 2019, Snoop said his professional Blunt Roller makes up to $50,000 a year — but yesterday’s price isn’t today’s price.

The prices go through the roof. And Snoop Dogg doesn’t pass the buck to his employees.

When the UberFacts Twitter account reminded the world that Snoop employed a full-time scooter for between $40,000 and $50,000 a year, Snoop was quick to clarify that his prized scooter’s salary had increased to keep up with inflation keep.

On June 7th, Snoop tweeted: “Inflation. Your salary’s gone up!” His response quickly went viral, and elite blunt rollers everywhere were considering updating their resumes for this new career path.

In 2019, Snoop wowed Seth Rogen, Howard Stern and stoners around the world when he revealed he pays big to stay ahead of his legendary appetite of 81 blunts a day.

“I don’t have time,” Snoop told Stern when asked when he knew he needed to hire a specialist. Rogen couldn’t contain his excitement as he recounted his own experience with Snoop’s golden reel.

“He knows how to gauge the look on someone’s face when it looks like they want a blunt, and if they do, he’ll give you one,” Rogen gushed.

“The motherfu*cker looks like Lurch from Addam’s Family… You called? … This motherfu*cker’s timing is impeccable … It’s his JOB. His resume says: PBR, pro blunt roller… If you’re great at something I need, I’ll hire you.”

Snoop Dogg gives a few details about his private Blunt Roller, who enjoys the many perks that come with the job. Complimentary weed and clothing go without saying, but don’t sleep on the worth of all the paid expenses when you travel the world with the big Dogg.

Stern was amazed by the arrangement: “It’s brilliant. That’s something I love, I’ve got a guy here that can roll. I’ll fucking give him a job for 50 grand a year.”

Rogen even considered posting his own job posting after the interview. “The time I spend rolling joints might be worth my time financially hiring someone to do it,” Rogen said.

In 2014, Waka Flocka briefly hired Flame Rogen to roll his blunts for him. But with big theatrical movies Neighbors and The Interview falling this year, Rogen probably couldn’t give his all for the role, uh, role.

Waka Flocka’s original job posting set the market price for full-time blunt work at $50,000 per year. It also required applicants to write their resumes on blunt or rolling paper.

In order for the $50,000 salary to keep up with the US’s 22.1% cumulative inflation rate since 2014, Snoop and Waka should now be paying at least $61,061.48 to keep their trusty tree scooters ahead of the curve.
