As of January 1, Oregonians can legally purchase up to two ounces of cannabis flowers from licensed retailers, NORML reports.
In a December 28 meeting, Oregon’s Liquor and Cannabis Commission approved new rules, including doubling the amount of marijuana customers customers can buy and allowing home delivery across city and county lines, among other things.

The new regulations are intended to help streamline oversight of the industry, reduce violence and discourage children from accessing THC-containing hemp products, the agency said.
Last year lawmakers passed a bill, Senate Bill 408, that allows the amount of cannabis flowers adults can own to two ounces and more when they are at home.
End illegal cannabis cultivation and decriminalization efforts
The new rules came into effect after Oregon legislators passed Senate Bills 893 and 5561 last month, aiming to end illegal cannabis cultivation by providing better infrastructure to spread the illegal marijuana cultivation combat in southern Oregon.
