How Marijuana Might Help Your Hump Day
It’s hump day – just far enough away from Monday to make the week seem long and yet days away from the weekend. A YouGov poll found Wednesday, you guessed it, in the middle of the field for most popular/least popular day of the week. As marijuana’s popularity increases and it becomes legal in more and more places, tests and studies on the benefits of marijuana become more available, so why not use it to help light up the middle of the week!

Decrease fatigue
Use marijuana for a midweek energy boost. A recent study shows that an average of 91.94% of people experienced reduced fatigue after using cannabis. The study involved 1,224 people who recorded 3,922 cannabis flower self-administration sessions over a one-month period. Cannabis flowers labeled as indica, sativa, or hybrid did not differ in symptom relief. Also, the cannabis consumed by using a joint to burn bud had more significant symptom relief than using pipes and vaporizers.
A better sleep
In the middle of the work week, school week, or just a stressful week, you might want to know that marijuana users have another benefit over non-smokers: more deep sleep. Scientists report that deep sleep is the most important thing to feel rested and stay healthy. During deep sleep, your body takes its time to repair damage that has occurred during the day. Specifically, muscle damage and problems with your immune system. Wake up refreshed to tackle the rest of the week!

Make you calmer and happier
When you’re stressed, you have less of a particular chemical in your brain. This chemical is anandamide (AEA). AEA is like an anti-anxiety pill that your body produces naturally. In fact, when your body is stressed or anxious, it starts producing more enzymes that get rid of anandamide in your body. It makes you feel tense, jittery, and downright awful.
Active chemicals in marijuana help by inhibiting anxiety-causing enzymes. They also help by acting in a similar way to natural anti-anxiety compounds in the brain.
Marijuana, it seems, can help the mind and body relax by simply allowing a person to enjoy the moment.

Bring the hump into the hump day
Hump Day features jokes about camels and, well, humps. Cannabis can help make a weeknight romp more fun. Participants in a study published in the National Library of Medicine found that cannabis helped them relax, increased their sensitivity to touch, and increased the intensity of feelings, improving their sexual experience, while others found that cannabis made them sleepy and drowsy less focused did not affect their sexual experience
Instead, perhaps opt for a few hits of a joint or vape—something that hits fast but isn’t so potent that you can’t control your dosage. Keep in mind that while these recent studies have shown that cannabis can enhance intimacy, other studies have shown the sluggish and negative effects of consuming too much THC.
Bring joy to the middle of the week and make the most of your hump day.
