Jamaica is legendary for its cannabis, what is the legal status of cannabis in Jamaica now?

Technically, only medical ganja is legal. As a tourist, you can buy ganja with a medical card from your home country, but it’s not a problem Mon if you don’t have one. For many foreigners, the words “ganja” and “Jamaica” are almost synonymous, but ganja in Jamaica doesn’t just mean the indigenous tribes and the historical casual (for tourists) enforcement of the law; For the really curious tourist, Jamaica offers cultural experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Rastafari are a big part of legalization in Jamaica, what do you think of Jamaica being a tourist canna hotspot?

GanjaVacations has been an idea I’ve been thinking about since early 2018, but for almost 2 years it was the second banana for other business priorities. We launched our website in late 2019 in hopes of going under the radar for a few months as we populated the website with resorts. But then Covid happened. We would have been much better able to deal with the lockdown if we had moved faster and had been a viable business as early as the first quarter of 2020.
