High sex: 7 things to consider
Marijuana and sex are a popular pairing. Together they make a lot of sense: a union of two activities that are very pleasant in themselves and can complement each other in combination.
Marijuana can help people in many ways, something the industry has capitalized on by developing lubricants and products that are designed to improve sex. Old school smoking and edibles are also very popular as they allow people to let go of their inhibitions and be in the moment in a way they would not otherwise have.
There are several reasons cannabis and sex go well together – most notably the deep relaxation that cannabis is associated with. This state of mind is very useful for sex as it allows people to reconnect with themselves and give themselves the opportunity to have a really good time. Then there is the fact that cannabis is a vasodilator that increases blood flow and makes our bodies more sensitive to stimuli.
Here are seven things to keep in mind during high sex:

If this is your first time trying the combination of marijuana and sex, try a method that you are well familiar with to get rid of some of the factors that are beyond your control. If you like planning ahead, experimenting with different strains and consumption methods well in advance will help you manage your high and eliminate negative side effects.

Do your research and buy the right type of weed. While some strains increase the physical sensation, others leave a more cerebral high, which can be frustrating when trying to have a special sexual experience.

You shouldn’t get too high, so be careful and smoke or consume your edible slowly so that the process of getting high becomes as slow as possible. Remember, cannabis is meant to aid sex and not be the star of the evening.

Lubricant is always a good idea, especially if you’re trying something new that might make you a little nervous. Another thing to be careful about is the fact that THC tends to dry out your mouth and slow down your body’s fluid production, which doesn’t really result in pleasurable sex. Keep your lubricant close and stay hydrated.

If you’ve thought about trying a new edible or experimenting with a new way of consuming it, avoid doing so during sex. While it can be some fun, especially if you have a good grip on your body around the weed, it will likely be a little distracting. Sex and weed is a combination that works, there is no need to add more to the equation to make it special.

Try out new toys or sensations and take advantage of your body’s newly acquired sensitivities. Again, it is important to take it slow so as not to get overwhelmed and avoid scenarios that are too intense. Make yourself crazy with an ice cube, some lube, or whatever sounds like a good time.

There’s a fine line between a good time and a paranoid high. You shouldn’t introduce the latter on your romantic evening, so pay special attention to how much weed you consume. And while passing out from a high is great, it’s best to leave it for other occasions besides sex.
