Futuristic CBD Vending Machines Landing In Florida – Where Are They Landing Next?
Miami is advancing with its cannabis innovations and we are here for it!
Now, at the push of a button, CBD shoppers living in the Miami suburbs can get their cannabis products. Think about how to use a vending machine to get your favorite lemonade and now imagine that CBD infused products are automatically dispensed to you. Sounds cool right?

Cannabis tech company Cultiva created the Wellness Pantry, which allows people (who download the company’s free app) to purchase CBD products remotely. A similar machine to the one used to sell sodas and chips is used, which is what makes the buying process so exciting. How does this work?
How does the machine work?
The machine has remote monitoring and smooth operation, as well as non-contact payments. In keeping with the times, Cultiva’s CEO says CBD buyers can use blockchain technology to verify the customer’s age.
Marijuana vending machines in other states are restrictive in their operation: dispensaries are given sole authority to offer CBD products. But with the Wellness Pantry, the machine can be operated from anywhere, for example in non-cannabis shops and even in residential complexes.

Cultiva Founder and CEO Daniel Torres insists that communities have access to quality products through this machine in a safe, fun, interactive and straightforward way. The first wellness pantry will be fully operational this weekend and will be housed in a residential complex. The complex is owned by the largest amenity management company in America: NFC Amenity Management.
The first and last machine?
Cultiva Wellness Pantry, despite its promising properties, is not the first CBD vending machine to hit the US market. However, it is one of the most advanced machines currently on the market, with Miami being the first recipient.
In October last year, the Anne vending machine debuted in pharmacies for the Star Buds retail chain in Colorado. This was followed by the release of California-based GreenStop machines, which have four touchscreens that allow different customers to order at the same time.

Two other companies have also launched traditional vending machines that allow users to select products by inserting cash. All they should do is press a two button code and voila, your cannabis is ready!
When installed in a registered cannabis store, the CBD vending machines help store owners move customers around much faster, reducing queues. The devices also serve as outlets in rural areas and remote cities that cannot support full-fledged stores.
But the automated service still has many challenges before it can become an integral part of the cannabis industry. There are technical challenges that mean that the machine can correctly integrate the point of sale (POS) system of the store.
Various states have regulations that require human oversight over cannabis purchases. The states of Nevada and Michigan are part of the 20 US states that have laws that require people to receive a receipt for their CBD products, which is issued by the store employee.
Robot vS. Budget tender
The vending machines offer limited choices as opposed to an entire store where the machines cost up to $ 25,000 each. Industry experts claim it could take years for vending machines to become very popular in pharmacies and CBD stores in America.
Torres claims the machines were not designed to replace Budtenders. Customers will walk into the store, talk about the product, and get a quality guarantee before buying. Hence, the machines in such pharmacies improve the customer experience for those who prefer to use a device.

Are vending machines the future?
At this point in time, it can be said that vending machines are part of the CBD future; it is not the sole focus of the future, but part of it. Cannabis users want the safest, healthiest access to products, and because vending machines offer this, they have excellent growth opportunities in the future.
Cultiva Wellness already describes its machine as “the most technologically advanced automatic dispensing unit”. They believe this is the most viable CBD product vending machine, and that is a factual statement about the CBD vending machine.

The company was founded in 2019 and its mission was clear: to make CBD, hemp and wellness products easily accessible to many people using technology-driven solutions. The introduction of Wellness Pantry gives communities access to premium products and therefore we can say that the future of CBD vending machines is bright.
Most important challenges and solutions
As with all new ideas tested in a new market, there will be a few glitches at the beginning, but there are solutions to these problems.
Challenge: Regulations that prioritize human oversight of cannabis transactions.
Solution: Legislators can be encouraged to consider progressive regulations that will allow vending machines to live up to their pride.
Challenge: Technical challenges at the point of sale in connection with integration.
Solution: All vending machines should be tested and pre-used before being placed in pharmacies. If the effectiveness is not determined, the machine must not be used.
Challenge: Limited product capacity, which reduces the selection process
Solution; The vending companies should increase the production capacity so that users can enjoy their selection process.
Challenge: Lack of federal legislation that could prevent vending machines from spreading in the country.
Solution: Lawmakers passionate about the growth of cannabis and its innovative tendencies should pressure lawmakers to make federal cannabis legislation a priority.
Bottom line
The cannabis industry is developing rapidly. What used to be just a thought is gradually becoming a reality with the machines, and Miami is at the forefront of this innovative design. Yes, we still need our budget tenders for a more personalized experience, but the CBD vending machines allow buyers to access products much faster and easier.
Miami sets the pace for other states, and with these vending machine additions, it’s safe to say that buying CBD in Miami will never be the same.
