Future’s Monster Kush is the first Evol strain to hit the Nevada market

Future’s cannabis brand Evol is now available in Nevada in partnership with grower Redwood Cultivation, according to a Sept. 22 announcement. After first being announced last April and then conquering California, Nevada marks the next strategic step in expanding Evol to the next state on the list.

As of last Friday, adults in Nevada can purchase eighths of the premium pre-packaged product Monster Kush, the first product to hit the market. Additional products from Evol by Future and Redwood Cultivation will follow in the coming months.

“Millions of people consider Future one of the most influential artists of this generation. “We are excited to partner with Future and Carma HoldCo to introduce its suite of high-quality EVOL by Future THC products,” said Paul Schloss, President and CEO of Redwood Cultivation.

“We can’t wait for the fourth quarter of this year, when Future’s premium blunts, pre-rolls and concentrates will be available here in Las Vegas,” said Schloss.

With a history of proving and winning with high-performing crosses and numerous partnerships, Redwood Cultivation will take over Evol’s Nevada operations and will soon launch new varieties.

Redwood cultivation

Redwood Cultivation is led by Schloss and the company features a 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art growing facility equipped with automated fertilization, drip irrigation, HVAC, lighting and a CO2 system. It was originally founded by Harris Rittoff and Cherry Development in 2014. In 2016, Redwood was selected as the exclusive Nevada distributor for Willie’s Reserve, the cannabis company led by Willie Nelson. They have also partnered with Cheech Marin’s cannabis company.

Redwood also sells products such as stacked decks, packs of pre-rolled pieces intended for sale.

“The influence of the future is unmatched. Future’s Evol will resonate with millions of cannabis enthusiasts as his music has millions of listeners, and we can’t wait to share Future’s exceptional Nevada strains with Redwood Cultivation,” said Adam Wilks, CEO of Carma HoldCo .

Why no lineage is immediately available, Monster Kush is typically a hybrid with 20 percent indica genetics and 80 percent sativa genetics. She has an impressive genetic ancestry and is the result of crossing Mexican, Colombian and Thai genetics as well as G13 hash plant genetics for potency.

Future and the start of Evol

High Times met with Future on April 20 to discuss Evol and its overall expansion plan.

“Evol was about timing,” Future told High Times on April 20 last year. “I’ve had offers before. But this is different. Evol is about longevity, consistency, hard work and having a quality product to share with the culture. And it has to feel natural. And I enjoy it too. And it’s a blessing to be here.”

The company also admitted to High Times that celebrity-endorsed cannabis brands face hurdles and that consumers want to know who is growing the cannabis.

“Consumers are smart,” said Chad Bronstein, president and chairman of Carma HoldCo. “You know that when someone as hard-working, consistent, influential and selective as Future puts his name on something, he’s going to succeed. And that’s exciting for everyone, his fans, our customers and the industry as a whole.”

The partnership with Carma HoldCo is the result of a carefully considered plan. “As an artist, I strive to illuminate the world with different perspectives and experiences, whether through my writing, live performances, or other creative endeavors. “With Carma HoldCo, I can use that creativity to build a new cannabis lifestyle brand that resonates with my community and delivers a high-quality product to my fans and a much broader audience,” Future said in a statement upon the initial announcement of Evol.

The Company plans to introduce additional THC, CBD and Delta 8/9 THC products into its Nevada operations. But it’s more than just a gamble, it’s an investment that is banned around the world and whose laws directly affect Future.

Future DJ Cisco fought the hard way to ensure that cannabis is not tolerated in the Middle East. Cisco told MTV in 2015 about his experience when he was locked up in prison in Abu Dubai for cannabis possession. Airport security found weed in his luggage, a familiar scenario for Americans traveling outside the country. Cisco spent 56 days in a Dubai prison with a Taliban member. U.S. Embassy officials got involved, but it took weeks to resolve the matter.
