Fireworks: 9 super hot weeds from July 4th

American cannabis lovers, put some celebratory smoke in the air.

The dark age of prohibition is coming to an end. Weed is legal in 15 states – most of the world – including now Virginia and Connecticut. A national super majority supports legalization. The majority leader in the Senate tweeted “Happy 420”. And the Supreme Court justices say anything but “legalize”.

The long, party-filled 4th of July is also one of the biggest weed sales weekends of the year – and the main focus is on the fire flower. Cannabis sales in Colorado rose 80% above average every Thursday-Friday-Saturday on the weekend of July 4, 2020, according to cannabis market analyst BDS Analytics.

Nearly 7 out of 10 legal cannabis products sold in 2020 were flowers, and nearly half (45%) of every dollar spent on legal weed in 2020 went on buying flowers, BDS Analytics told Leafly on June 30 .

People buy a lot of buds for the 4th because nugs are a party-forward format: pack bowls for your friends, roll joints for trips, and titrate your high with quick-on-pulls. (In contrast, edibles have a delayed backup of about 90 minutes and then boom.)

As a result, Leafly is highlighting Independence Day by having nine super-hot strains explode on stage on July 4th – from ocean to shimmering ocean.

Patriotic zaza

Red zlush

Red Zlush from Seven Leaves in California has the name and pedigree of the moment. Who doesn’t want a slushie during a heatwave? Speaking of heat, Red Zlush combines the current It strain families Cookies and Zkittlez (which many call “Z” for brand reasons). Red Zlush rocks Gelato # 25, crossed not just any Z, but the real deal from Emerald Cup winner Terp Hogz.

Cindy White

Not exactly exotic, but patriotic – Cindy White of The Green Solution in Denver, CO, offers a zippy, motivating sativa cross of some rare classics: Cinderella 88 and Princess. Attach your river float.

Blue zushi

Keep an eye on those cookies and Z-crosses. Blue Zushi won the best overall rating and best tasting in June at the Zalympix, an exotic cannabis competition hosted by Greenwolf in Los Angeles. The Ten Co.’s Blue Zushi beats 15 challengers and crosses Z and Kush Mintz for a mega-terpy tropical fruit flavor – delicious lemon, raspberry and biscuits – and a strong hybrid effect.

It’s an artisanal, sun-grown, special hybrid of Merlot and Honey Dew # 36 that tastes like a fruit cocktail and lifts the mood without causing fear. Rum Punch is exclusive to Solful, but with the marijuana aroma molecule Terpinolen, everyone can tap into energetic cannabis vibes.

to the edge

People have spoken, and they have spoken for sweet, tart, delicious gasterps riding a stone phaser beam – Alien Labs’ biscuit. The Sacramento-based team worked with two current Cup-winning elite varieties, Melonade and Biscotti # 6. The result of the project tests at 29.31% THC and hits fruity and thick with a gelato bottom. It’s the best people want right now, and it’s the only exotic must-have jar that comes with movie-sized launch posters.

And that’s nine tribes of fire that fuel a spectacular finale for every Sesh. It may be difficult to find an individual one, but anyone in the weed-free states is just a tap away from great cookies, Z, or something delicious.
