February 2022 Leafly HighLight: LA Kush Cake strain
Be honest – people need contact.
We are programmed to be touched, held and comforted. Whether it’s a spa day, a snuggle, or a smooch, they all heat up your nervous system’s thermostat, known as the endogenous cannabinoid system.
And guess what? So does THC, the main active ingredient in weed.
Cakey, minty, strong, relaxing effects with high THC levels make LA Kush Cake a Leafly HighLight for February 2022. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, a remarkably high 29% of Leafly reviewers found LA Kush Cake to be arousing, making her arguably the trendiest strain to go with naked in ’22.

fun fact: Cannabis use is associated with better orgasms in healthy people. Medical patients report that it helps them manage stress, depression, anxiety, pain or tension; All of these can trigger intimacy.
This chart-topping, trendy mix of Wedding Cake and Kush Mints has 73 reviews on Leafly and an average score of 4.6 out of 5.
The smell? Good, fresh LA Kush Cake should have a sweet, smooth, dessert-like start with a minty finish. “Come here,” they say. The smoke is sugary, smooth and strong. The hybrid high is a positive, helpful companion; a good wingman.
“This strain leaves you feeling tingly (in a good way, not overwhelming or uncomfortable), aroused, very sensitive to touch, and fun to share in the company of a consensual partner/potential love interest ;)” she says in a Leafly review Reviewer.
“It’s a great combination of relaxation, euphoria, happiness… and maybe the perfect amount of horniness, LOL!!”

Disclaimer: Your mileage may vary; Naturally. Even Never Nudes can enjoy a pint of ice cream and a season of Naked & Afraid at LA Kush Cake. The cake serves everyone.

Large-scale pie cultures cost half that — $24 for an eighth outdoors from Honeydew Farms or $42 for indoors from Talking Trees.
Further north, fresh pies at Pur Roots in Portland, OR or A Greener Today in Seattle are cheap and plentiful. It’s for sale across the US, from Phoenix to Detroit, Boston and Maine.
Excerpts are also plentiful. In Colorado, LA Kush Cake half-gram vape pods are $25-$30. In SF, bargain shatter-grams are $30 versus $70 for high-end half-gram carts.

Magic Melon made a full third of Leafly reviewers swoon. This soft, tropically light daytime hybrid is “very good for chilling and being happy and tastes delicious. Good date strain lol,” said one reviewer. Fuel your secret garden this year with Humboldt Seed Company’s Magic Melon feminized seeds 10-pack – available at legal stores in several states and Canada, as well as online seed banks.
Member Berry
We made cakes and melons, so let’s change it up. Member Berry’s sweet orange and skunky blueberry will bring all the feelings back, some say.
“I experienced an intense high with my wife, talkative, prone to deep feelings and profound expression. Seems to enhance sensuality too, great for massage,” said one reviewer.
This hybrid of Skunkberry and Mandarin Sunset by Ethos Genetics is popular east of the Rocky Mountains of Ethos in Lynn, MA; to Verilife in Chicago; to Cookie Denver.
Cheetah Piss

Don’t fret over this spicy adventure. Nearly 30% of Leafly reviewers reported increased boisterousness with this latest Cookies brand strain. Maybe it’s the shudder of a transgressive strain name. Maybe it’s because Cheetah Piss is based around two top flavors, Gelato and Lemonnade. Either way, Rawwr!
And that’s it for February’s Leafly HighLight. Good luck in love and beyond. see you next month
